  • Castout, Innominate

The forbidden offspring of a human Orzhov advisor and a Gruul shaman elf, Castout was both rejected and unnamed. In all sincerity she doesn't even know how or why she acts the way she does. From her father she developed a sense of tradition, and a fondness for "death & taxes"; from her mother a, sometimes uncontrollable, warlike rage and lust for destruction, as well as the longing for a clan, were inherited.

Now, with no guides or protectors, she looks out for herself, lashing out at anything that gets in her way. Only those that pay her homage may remain in her presence, and even those may not remain for very long...

a card I made a while back, called, "One Final Wish"
Glisa had discovered the changes she had wrought on Mirrodin, and cried for what she had done. In her tears a spark ignited, and she fled Mirrodin in panic as a spirit, free of the phyrexian oil. She learned while she wandered that she had the power to grant wishes and answer the deepest questions of the soul. Eventually, she returned to Mirrodin to lead the peoples of Mirrodin against Phyrexia. With the war done, she granted one final wish, the wish of a multiverse, to free all planes forever of Phyrexia's taint. Upon the granting of her final wish, she faded into oblivion, her task done.

Trivaz, the Izzet Flectomancer, was having a bad day. Not only did his Plasmodermic Pseudo-Spewers break during his 6th experiment of the session, but it also succeeded in vaporizing most of his other equipment, including his goblin lackey Biff. Seeking a combination of enlightenment and solace, he paired up his prototype Sanity Channels with the standard Mizzium Conflagrator, a dangerous combination. It was a most fortunate occurrence. In addition to Trivaz becoming the first ever wizard to be incinerated by knowledge, it attracted the attention of the Firemind himself, who began researching its potentials if used in smaller doses.

The last survivor of the doomed planet Krypton, Kal-El came to Earth as a baby. He was raised in the American midwest and learned to value human life. As he matured, he came to find that Earth's lower gravity and yellow sun gave him amazing powers. He was super-strong and could fly and had many other abilities, which he used to defend his adopted planet, fighting crime and saving people in danger. He became known as Superman, Earth's greatest hero!

Ninfu had decided that the other Nymphs were not prepared to deal with Humans in the way that was necessary. So she and a few others that felt the same left the forest in search of someone. They ended up on Hell's Opening, the legendary volcano said to contain Maguma himself. It was there that Ninfu heard his voice. He asked her to bring him 50 human souls. And he would help her restore her forest. All the Nymphs were eager to follow Maguma. Those that weren't, were sent to meet Maguma the hot way. Maguma was going to cleanse this world of humans. She has now brought him 30 souls. Soon the forest will be free. Soon.

Soldier No. 567 was sitting with his squadron, waiting for the enemy to pass through. Everyone was restless, wriggling inside their tents and praying that they would wake up in a real home with a real name. Right when No. 567 was able to close his eyes, he heard the squadron leader, No. 522, call everyone to him. No. 522 had just received a letter from home base. The orders were that No. 522's squadron must evacuate the area, as the enemy brought double the troops than expected. Everyone was ecstatic at the news. Everyone except No. 567. No. 567 believed that the commander has made a flaw in their planning, as they would surely let them die to slow the enemy down. So, when the squadron was marching, No. 567 kept to the back of the line, and when the time was right, he hid under the brush and turned back. There he was. One soldier versus an entire army of black knights carrying banners taller than the trees. No. 567 remembered the rumors of the innocent families, who cannot grasp what it is like to see the true evil that mankind possesses. As he thought about the people he protects, the smaller his opposing force seemed. The army charged at him, but in his head, he could only see the leader of the black knights. No. 567 started to move forward. The gashing wounds left by the black knight's weaponry seemed like scratches to him. The army seemed more and more confused every time they lunged at this one single soldier. No. 567 finally reached the leader of the Black Knights, sporting the most sturdy armor imaginable and wielding a massive hammer of bones. As that leader jumped, ready to smash No. 567 into the ground, No. 567 dodged to the right, jumped higher than he ever has before, and sunk his sword deep into the leader's face. The rest of the Black Knights felt an emotion they have never felt before, fear. They ran away at the sight of the immortal soldier. No. 567 collapsed to the ground. He woke up in a bed, not a sleeping bag, and in a house, not a tent. He was covered in bandages. Beside him was a note that said the following. "We all had our prayers that day, but after what you did, your's was the only one worth answering. Thank you Adam. -No. 522"
