But, in the spirit of the contest, I'll also do @Tomigon 's second prompt:

The three options from above are still my prompts for the next user.
    Cheers!

I made one for "I came to fight a battle of wits, but it appears my opponent is unarmed."

    So new quotes...

"There's a thin line between being a hero and memory"

"The only difference between a good and bad person is the choice to kill something is option number seven instead or one or two."

Here's my entry. It uses the 'caster' mechanic I created, which is a little like the 'partner with' mechanic from battlebond, except obviously it doesn't have the same implications for commander, since the caster searches up instant and sorcery spells to cast.

Here's my two new (somewhat morbid) flavour texts:

Death, like tax, is often avoidable.

Blood is thicker than water, which is why it tastes so good.

Here's my two new flavor texts:

"I have no clue what just happened." - Izzet Guildmage

You really need a mint. - Last words.

    New quotes:

    One simple idea changed everything.

"Discourtesy is unspeakably ugly to me."
  • Some flavor texts to consider:

    Number 1.

"Death is not the greatest of evils: rather, it is to wish to die when one cannot."
    --Sophocles

Number 2. (For a note, you don't need to use the whole poem.)

    The Wolf ate the Owl
    The Wolf ate the Wren
The Wolf ate the Crow in the Dragon's den.
    The Dragon woke up
    And saw the mad beast
And she thought he'd make a rather fine feast.
    The Wolf, he was clever
    The Wolf, he was sly
The Wolf spun a tale, a glint in his eye.
    The Dragon thought it hard
    And she thought it best
To tear a wide hole in her beating chest
    The Wolf grinned and laughed
    And went out once again
To go find another dragon's den.

  • @sanjaya666, you also read SCP files?
  • Here:

    https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/mind-ritual

    Heres flavor text:

"A mad man does not know how mad he is. How then, can you know that you are not as mad as him?"

"The seen is all around us, and so is the unseen. How can you discredit one as false? In order for one to exist, the other must also"
  • @Ranshi922 Sometimes, my dude. :)
