Here is my latest revision now with flavor and a better version of scavenge. To me this plays off the idea that when the strong decay (creatures with power of 4 or greater) the weak get a chance to feast. I'm pretty sure that is pretty Golgari....rite?
Art - Here are the top three art cards! Nice work everyone! 3. Tied for Third @fraziel07 & @michaelmvm 2. @Simicguy 1. @Looverse Votes - The cards who got the most votes from their fellow cardsmiths! 3. @Sidereal - 4 Votes 2. @TheOrangeShamrock - 5 Votes 1. @Mobin - 6 Votes Top Three This week was very difficult, as there were so many strong cards. I'm very happy to have had such a conundrum! You all should be proud of your efforts! Honorable Mentions - @TheOrangeShamrock, @milanaarz & @benw These cards, to me, are all contenders and really great cards for this challenge. It was a matter of splitting hairs to determine who made it in and who didn't. Nice work everyone! Third Place - @SorcerersBone http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/golgari-aristocrat-5#.VV9Q85VFCP9 I really like the way this one adds a level of support to the graveyard with the low dredge cost and if you manage to get more than one on the battlefield, he supports you for doing what Golgari does by building you a small army! Nice feel and flavor on this guy! Second Place - @strongbelieves http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/golgari-aristocrat-25#.VV9IM5VFCP8 Even though I kept looking at this and thinking that it looks off in a stylish way, I kept coming back to how this guy turbo charges your Golgari deck. I would want to have this in any Golgari deck I was building because it's cheap and I can always cast it. Once he's out, let the terror begin! First Place - @Looverse http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/golgari-aristocrat-19#.VV9MZpVFCP9 Top down, this is just over the top Golgari Aristocrat to me. The art is amazing, and the way he feels his opponents are beneath him and will not be trifled with, but at the same time shows favor and benevolence to those loyal to him is really great flavor with absolutely no flavor text. Nice job Looverse!
