I'm gonna recommend highly against including fateseal. You'd create a form of lantern control in standard and limited environments. While that's all fine and dandy, the big difference is that lantern control has a lot of moving parts while fateseal is all that on its own. Mesmeric Sliver is proof of why repeatable fateseal is bad and unfun. Fatesealing one even once a turn is super oppressive, and even worse when you're fatesealing two or three multiple times.
@Lujikul Alright! Thanks for the warning, I'll take other cards into consideration. Although, I'm trying to use as many Futuresight mechanics as possible so... any other suggestions from that set?

... This discussion is titled "a love letter to future sight" for a reason.
Referencing your discussion opener, hippopotamus are actually quite subtle... XD
Is there perhaps a more subtle animal whose name I could employ? Ahahaha
Clouded leopard perhaps? But it sounded like you were going for less subtle, not more...
A tasmanian devil would probably be along the lines you were going for.
Thoughts on using Absorb for white?
Looks like blue is probably just gonna get a new mechanic.
Its a very monogreen card. We'll see!
You are welcome to try out Deter if you want.
I suggest you use the actual Absorb wording.
