  • Frostbiter with Dismember! I love it!
  • He sees you when you’re sleeping... I thought this would be a cool spin on Christmas cheer!

My version: Souldrain (Whenever this creature deals damage to a player, you may have target creature that player controls get -1/-1 until end of turn for each 1 damage dealt this way.)

I used this mechanic without the keyword; Christmas Cheer by Dechujoh64

Entry 7 (and the card it looks for, not an entry.)

    Caster by Undead

  • I changed Æther Overflow a little bit:

  • It's time to announce the winners!

    Honorable mentions

    "Frostbiter" by @Faiths_Guide
    https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/frostbiter
4 drop 3/3 with no etb/ltb is a little weak for a rare, but I like how the mechanic is used in flavorful ways.

    "Deida, Explosives Expert" by @shadow123
    https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/deida-explosives-expert
I always enjoy powerful 2 drop haste with power 2. This is probably a little too powerful, but still cool!

    "Christmas Carolers" by @Lastjustice
    https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/christmas-carolers
This is extremely weak in a cute way. (It kinda reminds me of early expansion sets' cards.) Nice art too!

    3rd Place!
    "Golgari Gorgon" by @Lastjustice
    image
    Great card for limited!

    2nd Place!!
    "Ugly Butler" by @TenebrisNemo
    image
Nice balance! I also relieved that one of your entries has realistic(MtG-ish) art! XD

    1st Place!!!
    "Santa, the Feared" by @shadow123
    image
I like the power balance of this. It's probably a little weak, but I think this is a realistic weak. Throwing a Gift to a creature to tap it is funny!
  • Ugg! I just made a card today for this contest lol. I thought we had today to make one as well for it. well, guess I will post it elsewhere. (oof)
  • Congratulations to other winners and honorable mentions! Thank you for hosting, @Tomigon! I had planned to create more realistic entries, but alas, I was too busy!
