The masterpiece I created went unduly appreciated, and unable to be grasped. I await the day when perhaps people are prepared to attempt another ascension.
Disregard that spoopy salt. My masterpiece of a card would probably be Fterotos, Wings of Nyx. It took ages to find proper artwork for an enchantment creature and then even more time to figure out what to do. It was a 4 hour endeavor that I'm glad I did. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/fterots-wings-of-nyx
This card is one I enjoy. It's not the one I feel is the best balanced, or the one with the most meaningful lore for one of my custom planes, but it is one that is touching to a lot of people, and I like it for the symbol it represents.
Excellent @Daedalus. A creature with such high mana cost in amount and color ought to give a winning effect. It also requires other cards to have maximum effect.
@ranshi I commented on the card but somehow my comment got eaten by Disqus. It’s a brilliant effect in the correct colors. It’s probably too cheap by {2}. Great flavor, great ability.
@spellpiper I love the Charge of the Dragon. Very flavorful. It tells a story. It’s very hopeful. Consult the elder chaos is degenerate. It’s the kind of card that would be restricted in Vintage and banned in other formats because of it’s unusually strong utility - on the order of Balance or Pox. But again great flavor. I’m not sure why it’s red?
Most Level-up cards gain a level based on a specific trigger, sometimes an event outside the card, sometimes a triggered ability.
Different levels on a card are cumulative, with the exception of power and toughness, which changes with each level.
For example, if I have a level-up card that gains a level whenever a creature I control dies, and a creature I control dies, then I level the card up to level two, and gain certain abilities, such as possible first strike or death touch, and gain a new base power/toughness.
@Fallen_Lord_Vulganos everyone has good ideas Maybe you don't know what your masterpiece is because it's in the future!
Syndicate Bogeyman seems very strong, but only a little stronger than some of the white enchantments that exile stuff for a time. Plus it's on a stick.
Here is my favorite set. My favorite card I've made is Phorcykah. She is an artifacts matters commander than plays Liquidmetal coating effects and a bunch of artifact destruction. Playtesting, 7 mana for her ability is still a little low with the Mycosynth Lattice Combo.
My most favorited card, with a measly 8, is Face Collector, even though it's not a very me card.
I'm pretty sure this is very, very broken, given how much it gives you and the fact that certain curses, particularly trespasser's curse, do next to nothing to you. At the same time, I was just really pleased with it. I'm pretty pleased with the flavour text, too.
@DrakeGladis oh they're both wonderful cards! The green aura is just right. It's 100% green, it's efficient without being cheaty, it's the right rarity, the picture is great and the flavor text is great. You did an awesome job.

I'll have to look through my cards for this. It's been awhile since I've done that with my own cards, so this could take awhile...

This is similar to the surveil mechanic: [surveil 1. (Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card into your graveyard.)]

I think it's a fair card. Maybe {1} too cheap.
I do, however, think this one might be decent.

Thanks!

A 2/2 that makes a 4/4 seems too powerful even with the curse. But I did fav it for the flavor text and overalll flavor.
My personal favorite card:

And I think my most underappreciated and useful card:
