    You definitely made Zephyr Spirit better, but the new version is still pretty meh. Also, the triggered ability is neat, but combining a block trigger with a temporary status trigger on a card that disappears from sight could lead to a lot of misplay problems. 'Oh forgot I couldn't cast that. Whoops.' I would say 6/10. Definitely did the goal, but doesn't shine.

    4 life might sound fair for Parade of Souls, but it might be above K'rikk power level for almost half the mana cost. I just want to see dark ritual into this into some jank Ad Nauseum combo. The second ability overshadows the first, which also goes infinite with with several ashnod loops. It kind of keeps the same spirit of the card, but it feels very different and way too strong. I'm on a 3.5/10 for it. Maybe play around with it, could still have a lot of potential.

    @Shadaar
    You are the winner! So you get five favorites. I would prefer to pick which cards which might take a few days. Wood Elemental Elder pushes Wood Elemental in a cool exciting way. It is a little wordy, but the basic concept of double fertilid is simple enough to remember after one or two reads. This card has a home in edh landfall decks which are not easy to break into. If you could make the word count lower somehow, the score might go higher but for now we're saying 8/10. Small technical note--the green mana symbol should go after the other cost requirement, not before.

    Annulment is definitely better than Undoing, but it feels like a very awkward design. I suppose it goes into a flicker deck like a better Crystal Shard, but Crystal Shard is pretty meh most of the time, and high mana. The on board counter spell also feels rough for both the player playing and being played against. This one sags at around 5/10. It does its job and not much else.

    @Fallen_Lord_Vulganos
    I'm all for remaking commanders from Legends. I am an artist and have been working on a series of better art for them. There are a lot of issues with your card. Yes it is a lot better and has a decent cool factor. I might try to brew if this was real, but first, it is way too strong. An anthem and trample would probably already be 4 mana. An anthem, trample and vigilance feels more like 7 or 8. The other ability is both strong self-protection and multiple Siege Rhinos on one card, and Siege Rhino raped standard with Bring to Light. There are so many effects, especially vigilance and the self-indestructible seem easy to forget, that the overcomplexity eats the coolness. Still, this card would be exciting and fun to play, and keeps some of the spirit from the original so we'll say 6.5/10. Good job my dude!

    @Revan
    Marhault is an improvement over the original. It is a unique and creative design that hits the flavor text of the original for sure. This could also be feasibly printed into a set. The thing this card is missing is the awesome factor. What if they just never hit him? Then you spent 4 mana on a rare 2/6 that runs away at a pacifism. Relying on your opponent just feels bad a lot of the time, and the biggest payoff you get from this card is maybe taking out a guy or two. I will say a 7/10 for decent realism and good flavor/growth. You were really close to slam dunk.

    Adun is less impressive. His first ability is kind of normal now, but is usually a white ability only. His second ability feels like a worse Gyrus or Meren. In limited he might be okay, but you have to attack as a 2/3 which means he'll probably die in one or two swings. We'll say 4.5/10 since it does still stay true and improve the card.

    @Tomigon
    I have mixed feelings about Secret Path. Part of me has played against the Yeva deck and love it. Part of me sees that green can flash creatures out sometimes, but part of me says that still feels blue. Either way, It is better, but it doesn't stay true to the original, so it is more of an inspired by than improvement of. We'll say a flat 5/10 since it would be fun to play. Congratulations on the art!

    @zamshala
    Jasmine is quite oppressive in a lot of board states, but I appreciate that you have added to the mythos of the character using mechanics. The card is ok, but in a weird place power level wise. It could easily be too strong for standard where it just ends aggro decks after turn 5, but could often be useless in eternal formats or commander. There's also not a big excitement level here because the effective is more stall and not playing the game than encouraging interesting board states. We'll say 7.5/10 so I'll give you an honorable mention favorite.

    @ArchieTaylor
    I don't know that you could say that this Livonya is better? It certainly is different, but I would guess getting evasion is better on a voltron commander than self pump is when the difference is 5 turn kill or 4 turn kill. No one would cry if your card was printed but it seems very medium. We'll say 5.5/10.

    @CnBCustoms
    Personally, I love Numai Ronin and will honorable mention favorite it, but there are a lot of issues with gameplay I could see popping up. First, Bushido is an 8 on the storm scale so this card broke an extra rule. The main reason it is that high is how setting specific it is, but also it is weird in gameplay. The fact that this card alters not only its own stats but its own stats and all blacking creatures is a lot to keep up with sometimes, and too complicated for the payoff. Also in combat, this is effectively 3/3 which is too high for a two drop with upside. I love it but can only give it a 4/10.

    Nomad Arena is also super solid. It is way better, mostly keeps in tune with the original which is a very lame card, and is pushed but not definitionally broken. I think it wanders a little bit from the originally. The ties to the original are 'white pain land with threshold.' You lose the sacrifice aspect and the life gain aspect which are both things that could have been played with. Also, a soldier every turn could be surprisingly strong. Overall, a 7/10. I spent a lot of time thinking about what I would play with this card throughout the past two weeks.

    @Mrbobblehead
    I have an art for Sol'Kanar if you'd be interested, but your new version has little more than a name and color identity tied to the original. It is probably stronger, but the mana cost is prohibitive. Also, the effects are a bit wheel spinning or mana hungry for an already expensive commander. Think I'm on a 4/10 for this guy. Nothing intrinsically saying this couldn't be a card, but not something that would probably ever see the press.

    @WilfordGrimley
    Sporest is cool and definitely better than Martyr, but the cards are fourth cousins at best. Sporest also is very complicated conceptually. An ability only for boosting a blocker that also requires you to burn cards from hand or grave will be pretty confusing for many newer players. More seasoned players might fear their opponent acting in response to the ability, having their Sporest be killed after the cost has been paid but before the ability resolves and therefore two-for-oneing themselves. Definitely have the right spirit and a good direction, could have used another layer of polish--we'll say 6.5.

    @Leaf_Juggernaut
    Sivitri is better than the original, but at odds with itself. It wants to attack with evasive abilities, but wants to block with the trigger. It's mana cost is pretty near unplayably high, especially for blue black. I'm sure there are still weird brews you could do with it though, so 5.5/10.

  • @brcien Thanks for the feed back. I was kinda of iffy in Adun myself. Congrats to @Shadaar. Solid card work my man.
  • thanks @brcien and @Revan !!  Appreciate the kind words and feedback.

    Congrats again. Think this thread is ready to be put to sleep.
  • @brcien Now I think about it, and look, back, Livonya isn't really very good, is she?
  • @ArchieTaylor
    I don't know if I would be negative on it, but it's very medium.

    @brcien
    Thank you for the challenge and feedback!
  • @brcien - I have noticed getting logged off a lot. Are you having that issue?
  • @Corwinnn
    The problem was on mobile. It had signed me out and would redirect me to the main cardsmith website page if I tried to log into forums.
