I finally made a cardsmith version of my planeswalker, so I'll update the link right now! I also made some tweaks to make it a little less powerful if that's okay.
3rd Place - @TerryTags with Krenko, Goblin Conscriptor
I'll admit it, I have a soft spot for Krenko. He was one of the first EDH decks I ever made and honestly, this is a pretty sweet update to the old lad. Definitely a bit on the strong side, but a cool concept combined with a beloved character earns it the number three spot.
2rd Place - @shadow123 with Tristan, Wandering Hero
Tristan himself is a really cool concept. Adventure on a planswalker? Sign me up! However I feel like he's a bit weak and easy to kill. However, the lore really made it for me. It's a good story that evokes the tones I miss from the older days of the MTG story. Good job dude.
Asharen is a strong first here for a lot of reasons. He feels strong, but not broken. Dancing that line of interest that drives brewers to do what they do best. He slots nicely into Jeskai cycling decks not only for all of his relevant abilities but also the fact that he himself has cycling. I wish I had some cool lore to go along with this lad, but still, congrats on the number one spot.
Thanks to everyone who participated, we didn't get many entries but the ones we did get were amazing. Likes and follows will be dispensed by Friday. I'll see you guys in the next contest.
