@crazybrain228 No, it doesn't. The card has to have the illusion creature type, or care about illusions in some other way.

@Medoway For wording, how about this: As an additional cost to cast Demonic Acquisition, pay twice X life, where X is the converted mana cost of target nonland permanent. Gain control of that permanent. Is that better?
