Also, I think Volcanic shards should be uncommon, because remember, unless you're casting other spells on your opponent's turn, this is always gonna be 1 cost if you play it on an opponent's turn, since it's an instant.

Also, I really, really, really like these three cards. Super flavorful, balanced, and they just fit with the whole gimmick of the set.

Also, keep in mind, if you cast an instant spell for it's encore cost during an opponent's turn, it only prevents you from casting other spells that turn, so when balancing the power levels of instants vs sorceries, you'll want to keep this in mind.

@Ral1000 For common cards, just make the encore cost higher than the normal mana cost, make the uncommon ones mostly equal costs, and rare and mythics have lower costs... that will solve the problem. For example: -- Desynchronize 1UU Instant Count…

Make sure the wording in the reminder text is (You can't cast other spells this turn)... because otherwise it prevents you from casting that spell!

@Ral1000 Looks great! Just one thing: can you change the name to Apex of something other than "Life", since my colorshifted Naya Nethroi uses "Apex of Life" also? Maybe something like "Apex of Essence" or "Apex of Vitality" will do.

Go right ahead @shadow123 ! I'm still gonna need to work with Arceus to do major rebalancing though, so things might change a lot depending on how much we radically redesign things vs just smooth them out...

By the way, this is how the cards look in the 3x3 print sheets. You can see I added the designer tags in the bottom righthand corner of the art box. The ones that were remade by Arceus8523 but originally designed by me say Alextorrez6 x Arceus8523. …
