@Arensen Remember, too, if someone has already done this, maybe spent a year getting the balance just perfect, those wouldn't be "new" cards so wouldn't qualify.

I'd have to see the exact wording, but it looks like a triggered ability that goes on the stack on top of the sorcery because it uses the word "when." That would exile the spell from the stack before it can resolve. To get the effect you want, try …

@Lujikul Mine are mostly cards for the actual character, not something "inspired by." The clause about not mentioning the character pretty much leaves me out. Platypusburger has plenty like that though.
