• There is a story in the works, it's still pretty vague but at the moment it involves Merlia and Karn steering off a chain reaction that destroyes the Phyrexian oil, leaving only the remaining phyrexians to fight.

• @King_Devil_II the second ability isn't a mana cost, it's a way to display the number of lands you need for the secondary effect, the card is cast when you draw it, I just don't have a better way to display that.
