A Mystery Challenge: Create a Snow Creature that's a Bird using a colored artifact frame instead of normal frame. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/runebeak-birgis-familiar

Thanks @jpastor.

Were the week 5 results posted somewhere and I just missed them?

The Rhinos will go toe to toe against the force of nature.

Great job @ManInMaroon_948!
-
@cadstar369 Counting up to seven encapsulates all of the numbers, so that was a good way to go about it. I was doing some Google searching to see if you were being whimsical with "Suji," but it wouldn't have worked out since five and six were miss…

@cadstar369 Nice find with Slitherwisp, I wasn't even trying to reference an existing card with my comment, I just have an affinity for symmetry in wording parallel abilities, lol. Is it just me or were you trying to include every number from 1 to …
-
@cadstar369 Nice design. First the obvious thing, "counter" should pluralized on the third line. Now the thing I'm not sure about, if Dark Knight of Suji starts with zero soul counters on it, it's impossible to get the ball rolling unless you kill …

@jpastor can I get in on some of that mystery box action? https://forums.mtgcardsmith.com/discussion/comment/229534#Comment_229534

@ManInMaroon_948 I'm interested in seeing what you come up with. Having the cost for activating a Pact start higher than for a Clue but with the potential to reduce it to the point where it's manaless opens up two interesting lines of play: 1) Hoar…

@cadstar369 I appreciate the extra text you added to the impulse draw. Since everyone can see what that card is anyway, it's a good use of that public information for an extra effect. The choice of which card types result in life and which result …
-
@ManInMaroon_948 I see what you're trying to do with Hexbane. Taking one worst case scenario (having to pay the maximum activation cost to draw with a Pact) and working it to your benefit in a different scenario (getting the maximum effect from Hex…

While not a card that uses Inscribe directly, it was made to interact with Pact tokens and cards with activated abilities that let you Inscribe. I think it could have a place in an Inscribe-heavy format, while not falling into the trap of being an …

All of this activity has provoked Memnarch, who decides to enter the conflict. Though not as physically formidable as Emrakul, he has superior will and mental prowess and can bypass Emrakul's defenses.

I've decided on my 25 Points Milestone: I'll take a Ghostly Sphere and an Hourglass of Time. Can I get another mystery box with two challenges?
-
I'm with cadstar on this. Rule 105.2 and 105.2a make this clear. https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Color

@ManInMaroon_948 I suppose you can also do a double-modal where you and your opponent choose from a list of options. You can also specify that the choices be made in secret and then revealed afterwards (Think Negan, the Cold-Blooded).

A Mystery Challenge: Create a card themed after @kaoz42 https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/kaoz-ridge-regent A 4/2 Dragon for kaoz42 using their custom mechanic Pact seems like an appropriately themed card given all the Dragons in kaoz42's collection.…

Thanks @TheKeefMan. I added a few edits above that might be helpful for aligning text in a card's textbox.

A Mystery Challenge: Create a Squirrel card that's not for laughs. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/harvest-sower I'll draft making a card for kaoz42

Thanks for the extra entries @jpastor. These will be my three: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/voidmaw-invocation https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/faiths-bastion https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/minister-of-ceremonies

The Historian will attempt to turn Emrakul's strength into a liability.
-
@TheKeefMan, no acknowledgement needed. You did all the heavy lifting, I just came in at the end and piggybacked on all of your hard work with some observations.

In response to Martial Mastery, the Hero will dispatch the thought snatcher.

In response to Unleash the Storm the monks will muster their retributive defenses in preparation for te onslaught.

Also, when making bulleted lists for modal spells and abilities, assuming exactly one space between the bullet and the start of the mode's text, there should be three indented spaces (see Step 5) at the start of each overflow line of text if the des…

@TheKeefMan Since this tutorial is for using the MTGCS site, I'll put in something in that vein. When inserting horizontal lines to separate rules text from flavour text or to create a grid for abilities like Level up and Prototype, use a line of u…

Nice guide! My best piece of advice seems much more basic in comparison. If you want your card to feel official, don't underestimate the value of looking at existing cards. Get used to doing good searches at scryfall.com or gatherer.wizards.com. …

A Mystery Challenge: Create a spell with delayed card draw. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/callamaz-the-inciter I'll cash in my 2x Chalice (2 Hugs + 3 Favouites), 2x Sapphire (3 Favourites), and 1x Powder Keg (Bomb entries with unknown artists). N…

While the monks decline to be the first aggressors, they are by no means defenseless when provoked and return any harm unleashed upon them several times over.
