ONLY TEN MORE DAYS!!!! GET THOSE ENTRIES IN!!!!
-
Who says you have to fetch your own lands? Entry 2. A devious blue version of Knight of the Reliquary.
-
Everyone's got an annoying younger sister (whom we secretly love on the inside). And Ral Zarek is no exception... (Ral's card below. Image from Scryfall.) Also a tribute to @saveria201, one of this site's best cardsmiths.
-
How about ascend with a mechanic that exists in the same set, the transform lands? (Note: I used the gold border for the land to make it look a bit like the existing transform lands. The colorless land border is not the best for this.)

Entry 1 using Explore from XLN/RIX

@pjbear2005: unfortunately no. I mentioned earlier that 'tribal' very specifically refers to creature types. Although we have the tendency to casually refer to things like 'artifact tribal' and 'planeswalker tribal' and the like, this is technically…
-
I also have the same question as @bnew07: by ability, do you mean keywords and ability words only? Or do you mean any ability (like token creation, etc)?
-
Bump!
-
@TenebrisNemo: you should say "add mana". You're not allowed to mention mana pool anymore according to new rules. Due to this violation, you have been...BANISHED!
-
I support this, but let's not blame @TenebrisNemo for anything. Summers can be extremely busy (as I am starting to realise).
-
@Faiths_Guide and @LyndonF: since non-Angels and non-Soldiers don't form a tribe on their own, I'm not sure if Watchful Shepherd or Honoured General are appropriate for this challenge. They're very interesting cards, just not the best for this chall…

My five dinos.

Bump!

@fiskerton: To answer your question, Gods do count, while Vehicles do not. The reasons are twofold. Firstly, the conditionality of creaturehood is flavorfully different in both. Vehicles are simply not living beings at all, while Gods are just power…

They see me bumpin, they hatin...

Inspired by Duel Masters, where there are no lands, and you pitch any card to the mana zone instead, where it adds one mana of its colour to your mana pool (my bad I forgot new wording).
-
Bump!
-
XD Kidding. Will enter soon.
-
Do we get 3 entrees just for entering? Sweeeeet. Was feeling rather hungry! You're the best!
-
Bump?
-
Here's a couple of tribal bird cards
-
A Zendikari Mox. As Moxy as they get.
-
@TigerFang8: Red card for you! (Just kidding. I'm not too strict about the names.)
-
Buuuuuuump!
-
@Lastjustice: very interesting! I might even make it black white, since black gets rid of walkers and white gets rid of tapped creatures.
-
@Lastjustice: my judgment of this contest appears to have left you unsatisfied. That was not my intention, and I am sorry. I did mention that Leyline of Stasis was one of the designs I considered to be very good, just that I found it a bit too effec…

Before I get to the overall top 3, I just want to give a few shout-outs to cards that came close or were almost there. @DeepSky with Searing Blast: This should not have had the option to target players. That makes it too strong IMO, as the deckbuil…

(Ran out of characters, catching my breath. Give me a moment)

And we are here at last, haters! The results of this are in. A small change was made to the prize distribution: for each category, I will be awarding the top 2 and not the top 3. This is due to a shortage of entries and, furthermore, an uneven dist…

Here's what is hopefully a balanced one drop walker who is at their best in dredge.
