Whoa, really? Thanks This is my single account as well.

I am Lowlander, and I am the pinnacle of self-esteem. I got into smithing cardboard a good amount of years back, but real life makes me come and go really often, being months or years at a time away from creative work, so I might not be the most co…

@SammySammyson Yes, they'd enter as enchants and thus would trigger Constellation :P Btw, Nyxseer would also make attacking manlands heal you.

Edit: Flavor now kinda fits.

All are new.

@strongbelieves Raising what not to do up in a pedestal can be beneficial insofar as it spreads awareness on what's not ok.

These two are older cards from November, 2018. Boggart Forager, Soldier of Fortune, Wheel of Fortune. Made for a one-sentence-rules-text challenge.
-
Based on the Eldrazi Processors, which really got me hooked into how Magic's rules actually worked with their unusual ability back in Battle for Zendikar.
-
Inspiration for these old cards, from Common to Uncommon: D-touch and Provoke. Giggle. Splice onto Artificer. Good luck breaking that. Mull out, scry out.

Untrue by an inch, untrue by a mile. One who stands still's to tire most. Mind the paramount, manage the peripheral.

@Tomigon Optimism's URL isn't loading for me btw, although the link is fine.

Width 34% makes it unreadable. width 35% is standard for challenges, keeps the playing field even

Skulk is interesting. The existing cards with Skulk, Startled Awake and Wharf Infiltrator aside, are not. Not even mentioning standalone power level, just cool design/possible synergy. No one wants to play a 1/3 Skulk Lifelink 3-drop. What's the po…

95 and 39 - Splice and Energy Counters. 13 and 21 - The number 13 and Monstrosity. (Monstrosity is a characteristic that only lingers for as long as the permanent is on the battlefield.) This is insanity.

>tbh, Jace's in such an identity crisis from constantly erasing his own memories, he's the best cover boy for the franchise. He can be whatever you want. More flex than FlexTape.

Offer Karn some oil for his joints. Secretly some phyrexian rub. Then have him invite all newer-to-the-timeline Planeswalkers to have a look at Karn's wonderful plane of Mirrodin. They'll turn Phyrexian, not exactly die, but for the purposes of th…

References to the Vancouver Mulligan, scrying a card you already left on top (double-checking), Zendikar, the destroyed Bala-Ged continent, and Jori En, a Merfolk from there.

Great challenge, I'll think on smth once I get home. BTW, a mulligan is the most important, free card selection aspect you'll have in a game of Magic. It decides how your early turns, and thus most of the game (except in Sealed and Multiplayer), wi…

As an additional option, I personally prefer https://scryfall.com/ to Gatherer, due to bad experiences with downtime and slow updates to the latter. It's rather interesting to check the upcoming cards in new sets for inspiration or just wording advi…

@Mantis17 I believe landwalk might as well just be "Can't be blocked". Imagine if there was a mechanic that functioned as Hellbent, except it rewarded you for having any number of cards in hand instead. That might as well be an ability with no such…
-
@TigerFang8 The problem would be that the second one would be a staple for being overpowered (e.g. nearly every deck would play it). And yeah, I believe I'll stay with the doesn't untap part removed from the first version. @Lastjustice I considered…

Thinking back on it, having the first one discard a card as a condition to be put in instant-speed might already be enough of a deterrant to quick early ramp plans (you'll need a bunch of other lands in hand), not needing the "doesn't untap" part. …

@Arceus8523 Check it out, great flavor text

I'm indecisive. Take your pick. Delver of Secrets is broken af. Probably the most powerful stand-alone creature I've made. It transforms. I prefer'er based on mass Edict effects/Dictate of Erebos synergy. @Brainifyer Missing your childhoo…

Exploring Spirit mechanics (Channel, Haunt and Soulbound ). Also exploring the color pie's limits, hopefully not being forceful (green "evasion", white "removing enchants" by gaining control of them and blue on-board "combat tricks".) There's …

@BorosPaladin Any thoughts on that 4-Color, 4 CMC Spirit? There aren't many of those around, and the design around that mana-intesiveness is weird. I'll be posting my cards btw.
