Sounds like you guys have better games than I do. Most games I play with my friends the winner is effectively decided by turn three, even if the game takes another ten turns.

Sultai Marchesa seems excessively brutal if you can stay on top. I'd recommend having a friendly commander somewhere in there. Like, one that doesn't say "kill me now."

Ouch. Well, we're well into the weekend, so too late to change now. Hopefully my regenerating cadaver doesn't get the Anserian Empire scrubbed from the world. If it does, oh well.
