Someone needs to get the "Fool Me" cycle in here. That was legendary. @Animist @Faiths_Guide
-
@Sanjaya666 Try telling that to George R.R. Martin. Death in a story provokes emotion. Don't forget, Wizards has killed off plenty of people, like Venser, Elspeth, and Yawgmoth. EDIT: To clarify, I'm not saying people should start killing off chara…

Here's mine, I suppose. http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/fate-of-duality?list=user

This discussion is very reminiscent of the Yorkshire Men. "Ah, we used to dream of living in a corridor! It was like a palace to us! Instead, it was all seventy of us out on the lake."

I never thought I'd see a gender debate outside of the Five Nights fandom.

Who?

@KrampisZman The issue isn't playability, though it did contribute to Khans/ BFZ being a lack of fun. It's the fact that prices remained really expensive, instead of lowering them for even a short period of time.
-
I'd argue that Invoke Prejudice isn't a racist, but rather, an unfortunate coincidence. Since blue loves to wield social things as weapons, (Propaganda and Hive Mind for example) it only makes sense that there'd be a card of that sort. Now, if it wa…

@KrampisZman If you played standard during Khans standard, then you'd know why reprinting fetch lands in standard is a bad idea. Costs aren't helped at all, in the short or long run.
-
I really hope the fetchlands are getting reprinted because you essentially can't play in modern without them unless you're going full mono. Personally, I'd like to see some of lantern control's more expensive pieces go down. (Here's looking at you, …

Nonblue drakes may have been an option.

Shameless bump.
-
You know what they say. It's always best to end with a bang.

Are cards we've made in the past allowed for this?
-
I'd do this, except everything I listen to titles the songs in a way that they aren't really good card names. I might have one possibility, though.
-
This contest isn't closed. Just new entries aren't being considered For all who are curious: The reason judging has been taking much, much longer than I had first anticipated was because I was rather busy, and I have several people I consult with w…

This was the best I could find, though I have a sneaking suspicion it may already be a real card. http://daveallsop.deviantart.com/art/Fresh-Meat-207789121

Prophet of Kruphix is incredibly OP, @KrampisZman it basically reads, "every turn is your turn, too."
-
I have nothing against faction contests, though maybe there should be prizes for commons and uncommons as well, just so we don't get swamped with rares when there's exactly thirty total slots, not including ones we've already made.

"Human Orb" Where the heck am I going to find art for this?
-
Meanwhile, I'm that guy that plays infect in commander and burn in sixty card, so it's no wonder no one likes playing against me. They're quite effective, though.
-
The second one really feels like a different type of card border, in all.honesty.
-
There's a decent token whack build by SaffronOlive that clocks in at about $85 in paper. Total. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/budget-magic-68-10-tix-modern-turn-2-tokens

@IanLowenthal The primary difference is that in the meta, if you're not playing dredge style, there's an issue. *cough*Lightsworns, Infernoids, and Burning Abyss*cough*

There's Yugioh, which, contrary to popular belief, isn't just a kids' game.
-
I feel like I should've seen this coming.
-
Here's mine. The only reason I can possibly think of for this to be popular is because it's an unconventional lord related to what was the most recent set at the time, and is arguably cute.

A finisher for the rabbit decks. http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/hulking-cave-rabbit

Here's one for the Heretics! http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/whisperword-speaker

@IanLowenthal If a masterpiece went that direction, I'd expect it to be demonic tutor. Pact is a relatively recent card, and it's not really used in any formats, while Tutor is older, and relevant in eternal formats.
