I think I’ll take a challenge, please.
-
This is one I made a little over a year ago designed to quite literally force you into Voltron.
-
Yeah, we did have a UW villain not too long ago in the form of Dovin Baan.
-
Dang, now that was a slaughter. Guess it's a good and proper reminder that we've got some incredibly strong contenders in this tournament!
-
My choice: Arlinn Kord, because wolves are cool. (Plus, I’m certain a couple other people here would love to do Davriel.)
-
Firstly, I'd like to apologize for taking so long to create a card for my challenge. (Make a card that expresses the good in an otherwise evil seeming being.) Secondly, this one might be cheating a little. The undead are often associated with evil,…

The young man watches the wurm in its restless sleep, unable to sleep himself. Gyar may have survived worse than whatever was causing this, but it pained him nonetheless to see one of the only beings he cared about like this. Even through the tumult…

It would appease me greatly if the wanderer, was, in fact, literally anyone besides Elspeth or Emrakul.
-
Does Kamigawa count towards number four?
-
An archer and a samurai vs a doctor and a sorcerer. Interesting times lay ahead of us.

I'm more recent than all of you. Member Since: 2/01/2016

Most people can say this better than I can, but the overall reason that feedback on cards tends to gravitate towards balancing in the perspective of standard and EDH is because those are the two most popular formats. In addition, most people who com…

“Whenever an opponents casts the named spell” might make it feel a bit better. The first one feels off to me as well. I’d recommend “Counter target spell with a converted mana cost equal to the converted mana cost of target artifact you control.”
-
@RayearthIX I believe it was supposed to be “return it to the battlefield transformed.”
-
Request: A card that provides an alternate loss condition.
-
I too would like to know this.
-
I’ll do Avarin and good. Card will come in (hopefully) 24 hours.

I think you're overestimating Bola's power. He's in a set where dodging the "lose the game" clause is fairly easy, he's incredibly color intensive, and though he's strong, if you're playing smart, you can get past his abilities and he should never b…

The more I hear about Ral the more I think he’s a borderline Grixis character. He’s got the wild, untamed genius of UR, but he’s also got that ambition floating around in him, and, if he did turn against Bolas, a very, very clear sense of self prese…

Fungal Future, Burst Potential, Magmatic Repulsion.

@TenebrisNemo No problem, we all need to take a break now and then, and no one can blame you for needing to take one, especially if you felt burnt out.
-
I haven't been playing much arena. I'm mostly just waiting for rotation so I can stop seeing nothing but merfolk and monoblue.
-
I’m down for one.
-
You are correct. Against such effects it would certainly keep the creature alive, though its power would still be reduced, obviously.
-
Not being able to have it’s toughness reduced just makes it immune to -x/-x effects, as taking damage doesn’t actually reduce the toughness. If that was the case, indestructible creatures would be able to die to combat damage.
-
The classic pair of the archer and the samurai. Actually seems pretty legit.
-
All the recent ravnica sets are under the one set philosophy as well, actually. It’s been mentioned that there can be more than one set to a plane. It mostly makes storytelling more manageable.
-
Gorun Urtanium Rysth Enclavonia Stirkarthurs Chrima
-
Are we sure you’d rather go with the two sets in a block system instead of the single sets system Wizards has currently adopted?
-
Nahiri is actually pretty decent for a hybrid 'walker. A first strike anthem is nothing to scoff at, and she randomly buffs equipment decks as well as providing small amounts of removal if need be.
