https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/keeper-of-a-thousand-souls Noki has his servant. Now I have my own.
-
Death is your blessing, not your burden. Accept mortality, and it will accept you. "Free a worthy soul from the underworld, young @Credius. Meharlat's gate stands opened for you. There must be someone in the Pit worth keeping..."
-
I will finish judging by 9-30. I love a lot of these entries, but I've fallen quite a bit behind on judging. I'll finish that as soon as possible.
-
"All devotees are welcome, @CastorCrozz. Don't worry yourself--We won't hurt you if you work well." Death only hurts the faithless.
-
Dearest @Credius... your devotion is greatly admired. However, you can not earn our favour until- "Until you create a slave for Meharlat. He may be an angel, but his work can't be completed alone. Once these other mortals see our collected power…

Would anyone else like to bounce their own ideas?

Thank you, @Credius. I shall send four to guard Meharlat's gates. "Meharlat doesn't need protection, brother." I'm not sending them to protect Meharlat--I'm sending them to protect something much more valuable. "Oh... that. I understand now." …

@Mellenius True, but this will be in its own form of Standard. Fall of Ravnica, City of Ruin, this set, and a followup of sorts.
-
@Mellenius For Azorius, we were already planning on making a midrange Improvise archetype.
-
(OOC) Luck on one end is a detriment on another. We have a lettuce club.
-
(OOC) You need to ask the principal before starting a club? Up here, all you need to do is find a teacher to sponsor the club, and make sure it isn't illegal. This is the second year in a row that I've run a DnD club.
-
@Mellenius I like that a lot more. Do you think that Boros should have an equipment-copying archetype? If so, what playstyle should it be in?
-
@Decaldor (Out of character) Damage needs a source, my friend.
-
@Credius Mace and Flail--I understand the difference. I couldn't find any good art for a mace, and a flail was the next best thing. Perhaps I could tap creatures blocked by or blocking it, without freezing them? That fits into the Azorius grey a…
-
@Credius It doesn't fit a mace. When I think of a mace, I imagine a stun of some sort, which is usually represented by freezing or tapping.
-
"Is @Armadaeus devoted to Noki?" No, you moron. He's a demon... he belongs to Meharlat. He is a devotee of Skaur. "Let's let him decide for himself, brother."
-
@Stormtdide I don't like either of those... +4/+1 doesn't make sense, lifelink doesn't seem natural, and neither does first strike. Freezing makes sense to me, and so does a flanking-type ability.
-
@Lujikul Yep. Ningyounk helped me with that--I didn't have Harvest Hand pulled up when I was making the card. I'll also need massive changes to the mace, as it certainly isn't white right now.
-
-
@Animist I'll see if we can make the Mythic legends multicoloured. It would help them stand out more in a crowd, and it would add a bit of variety to the set.
-
A creature that transforms into equipment. I'm not sure if it's any good, but it exists.
-
I didn't notice Lujikul's comment.
-
@Animist I like the concept, but there are two main things I don't like about the card. Both of these are problems with context, and I understand why you wouldn't read through eight pages of a forum--in other words, I'm not faulting you in either …
-
@serpentail I don't think we should implement Cursed Equipments for two main reasons. For starters, it would bump our legend count for one set to twenty-seven at the very least. We already have four cycles of legendaries along with no less than t…
-
Thank you. I think that it fits the flavour of a forest while simultaneously increasing the value of most permanents. Creatures can untap after attacking, artifacts and enchantments can re-activate abilities, exerted creatures could come back. I …
-
@serpentail I think that Implement would be better in its original form, just to reduce confusion.
-
How about counters that untap permanents? Echo counters? Serenity counters? Silence counters?
-
How about... If a creature with a shield counter would be destroyed, you may remove a shield counter from it. If you do, that creature gains indestructible until end of turn.
-
@Ningyounk How would Shield counters interact with Planeswalkers? If they run out of loyalty, they only lose a shield counter. Then what happens? Does it survive with one loyalty? Does it return to default? Does it still die?
