@tookie1 alright! It should be easy enough to focus the Fairies on W/U, and have a few green ones sprinkled in within the higher slots. @TerryTags Thanks for the video, hadn't seen that one! About the Sirens: I really like the idea! I didn't t…

Here is a possible color/tribe distribution for the set: Bears: G Sirens: U/B Elves: W/G Vampires: B/R Vedelkan: U/R Faeries: W/U/G Humans: W/B/R It would provide 3 of each color within the tribes, and reflect more or less what we've seen in th…

@Arceus8523 The Siren tribal sounds great! I knew there was some kind of tribe like that in magic, but just couldn't place my finger on it. I think they should definitely play a big role in the story like you said. I did have that set breakdown …

OK, so you can find the updated set information, new intro, and next big phase of design here: https://forums.mtgcardsmith.com/discussion/5279/ozorion-the-harlem-music-based-set-vision-design-phase#latest @Corwinnn, if you could close this discus…

Themes of the Plane While this discussion is partly devoted to the plane and themes, there are some we already have, and some I've been turning over recently. A.) Always awake, always alive As I mentioned earlier, the plane is constantly alive wi…
-
@Alextorrez6 you're right! Thanks for pointing that out now, otherwise it would be formatted the wrong way in the new introduction... Speaking of that, I've had some new ideas for themes and mechanics that we might want to try out. There is somethi…
-
@LordTachanka123 nice! I'm working on a new introduction thread for the set, to create a general overview of everything we have so far. Stay tuned!
-
What do you guys think of a Mesopotamia/Harlem Renaissance theme?
-
@LordTachanka123 that's not a bad idea! Do you mean like other cultures? We'll go further in depth with this when we begin Vision design. Stay tuned everyone!

Question: Many sets in magic has been themed around important periods and cultures in real world history. This seems to give the set a better feel, and make things easier to work with. What would you guys think of basing this set around Ancient…

Seems legit @ningyounk.

OK, so everyone is contributing awesome ideas for cards and stuff, and I won't forget any of them I promise (@LyndonF), but I think it's time to start developing the plane, the plot, and the characters. We'll need some kind of a history for the plan…
-
Hey @ningyounk, I'd be happy to help some! I'm also working on my set, Ozorion, which was partly inspired by Rezatta, so I feel like I ought to do something here. While I wasn't active during the common design phase of the set, I was following along…
-
Great @Arceus8523!! They look awsome!
-
@LyndonF that's perfect! I think we can just keep Harmonize at artifacts, enchantments, and lands like you said, and the players can just not enchant auras if they're smart. About the card ideas: I love the idea of combining general effects that w…

@Alextorrez6 would you like me to remake the apex cycle on mtg.design?
-
And even if they would just die, the lesson would be: Don't Harmonize Auras! I honestly don't really see what the big issue is, even though it would still be good to work out the exact rulings. @LyndonF, @Alextorrez6, @shadow123
-
OK, so I've been looking at you guys' suggestions and stuff, and I've boiled it down to this: I do have a question about auras: Would they really become unattached? Couldn't they stay on the creature and become a creature of their own? I know it …
-
@Alextorrez6 thanks for this! The one issue I foresee at the moment is that two of these will go infinite with anything that makes them tap for mana: -Beginning of turn: Untap both, both triggers target each other. In response, tap them for mana. …
-
@shadow123 I really like it! This is honestly very creative, and I'm sure we could find a way to include it. The only small issue here is that all of the common instant/sorcery slots in white usually have some other purpose, such as removal, buff…

@LordTachanka123 nothing came up, just a blank message... Is this related to the set?
-
Nice @Alextorrez6! It also took me a bit at first, but overall it's quite rewarding.
-
@Alextorrez6 you're completely fine! I didn't mean to put any kind of burden on you... You've helped so much already, so anything is fine!
-
If you guys have any ideas for cards, feel free to post them on here as well! I'd love for anyone to post concepts using these mechanics!
-
@Alextorrez6 I didn't think about that! It's good you mentioned that now, thanks!
-
@LordTachanka123 Ok then...
-
@LordTachanka123 what? If you're saying you like the cards, thanks!
-
Fair enough @shadow123. I think you're right about that.
-
What do you guys think of something like this as a white common: Meant as a sort of a more flavorful version of Healer's Hawk...
-
Correct @Alextorrez6. It's probably going to be meant for draft and some standard gameplay, and I made the skeleton around recent standard sets for this reason.
