Ya I’m confused about this system. I was under the impression there was a by for the top two seeds, hence why i didn’t make any new cards. Anyways, well done.

@GloomyAndSunny1_0_1 There are some definite formatting issues with this card, but the basic premise isn’t bad. The biggest issue is that this is out of color, definitely needs to have white in its cost. Also, the p/t might need to be reduced since …

I’m kinda confused on how I’ll compete going forward. Knowing why you lost or won is the only way to improve, and against such worthy competition I’ll stand no chance if i don’t consistently adjust. Without critical feedback I’m kinda losing my moti…

@Globert-the-Martian i don’t mind taking the L, just from a glance it seemed like it should’ve been closer imo
-
Indeed! Stay ballin G. Haters are gonna hate

As always, appreciate the effort that goes into this, it’s Alot of fun. However, Tbh I’m a bit skep of this latest round involving my cards. No disrespect to Globert, but a 4:1 is near clean sweep, and they’ve been rocking for three rounds now with …

@Jadefire word. No worries
-
Is everything alright? @jpastor
-
I enjoyed your breakdowns on Globert’s cards! Here’s a couple that I’m interested to hear your opinion on. Thrive is intended to be a Bant-identity ability usable in any of its three constituent mono-colors.
-
@hileandr Hey thanks so much for the in depth analysis. I have edited the cards to some degree in response to your critiques. 1. Era Ender - I changed him to a Giant warrior with different art, felt more appropriate to the name. However I think you…
-
@jpastor I see that the standings have been updated. Is there a live judging you’re doing today at all?
-
Here are some cards for your consideration good sir. They’re my five most recent. I’m having a hard time knowing whether the Sultan is too strong (because of the effect) or too weak (because of the body) so I’d love to know your thoughts on that spe…

This is cool! I hope you aren’t getting too inundated!
-
And damn, @Globert-the-Martian I done got goose-egged. Well done.
-
Also @jpastor Thank you for another wonderful week of judging. I really enjoy your feedback. One bone I have to pick is your analysis of “If an opponent controls more lands than you” This wording was specifically chosen to reflect whites need to cat…

@hileandr A worthy match good sir! And I do love me some nice commons! Did you know that my card Thingol’s Injunction is also a Tolkien based card? Elu Thingol is an elven king in the Silmarillion. I dig your LOTR limited set so far. I’ve worked on …

I don’t have twitch, will it be posted here @Jadefire @jpastor ?
-
I missed the judging on @Jadefire and I’s match. I don’t know what happened. I’m. Guessing i lost this one?
-
@jpastor I really like the video judging. I appreciate the time it took. It makes this a lot more exciting!
-
@Ranshi You nailed what I was going for with Sagacious Centaur in terms of its color identity. I can also see what you’re saying about the cost of Augury, it probably should be a 4-drop. Nicely done on your cards mate; One thing i will say for Foll…

Credit to @ArchieTaylor for the original Janagard character on the left. In an alternate timeline, Janagard cares only for her own glory. And while still a great hero, she only desires to sacrifice her life to attain eternal Valkyrie-dom, rather th…

Question, may we do one of our own creatures or does it ha be to be another card smiths creation?
-
@SpellPiper2213 seems cool. Also, love your write-ups for Ataar. Very nice
-
@Abu_Jafar Wow! What an awesome set! There’s a lot there that I really, really love. Also, its interesting to see some of the similarities we’ve come up with separately. I really love the Wanderlust ability! Also, love all the tribes! If you’re do…
-
@Abu_Jafar by all means, I’d love to see it. This is also like the third time I’ve decided to work on this theme over the past couple years. Each time it gets a little more refined
-
But also, that does push it closer to just being like Impulse drawing. Which i was trying to avoid. I don’t know how it would be any more confusing to track than say, foretell.
-
@ShadowReign Word, I tried that and I didn’t really like how it affected the line breaks. It was visually unappealing. So if you click on the card, you’ll see that I opted for “Exile it. Until end of turn, the next spell you cast that shares…”
-
I agree. Here’s my first attempt at it. A card that also has some ordain synergy. But I think this ability could be on instants, sorceries, enchantments, artifacts, hell even a land maybe.
-
Ok, I’ve got two so far. Tell me what y’all think of the second as I just came up with it. Ordain functions similarly to Kicker and can be on any type of spell. I’ve updated the wording to be slightly more economical in letter count. ——————————————…
