So if the power and toughness are already X/X, the +1/+1 counters would boost him that much more. I wasn't talking about the green mana thing.

Yes, but the first ability says "Branch Golem enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it." That plus the power and toughness already being the mana cost.

@Mila I don't know if you meant it to be this way, but right now, it already has power and toughness X, plus that first ability, so paying {5} could make it be a 10/10. Pretty OP if you meant that.

@Coffeeish that's kinda OP. a 6/6 For 5 cmc with Menace, Trample, and Protec. From Humans? Really good. I think It should either be a legendary, a mythic, or increase the cmc by 1 or 2.

@Grimaldus It's a dragon who is the friend of the captain of the ship, they work together VERY effectively (you can imagine a dragon charging you while a pirate is trying to steal your belongings)

I'm not really that experienced with Legendary artifacts, but here's a go at one. Oh also I messed up with the last ability. It should say {4},{t}: Return target legendary creature exiled with Ring of Royalty to your hand.
