Hobys are very time consuming

@kickash the commander must present the color identity of the last card as well. We have already had three blue guilds, so the next commander must be Azorius, forllowed by a white card - then Emeria can come play
-
you're all big dinguses!
-
@jpastor !!! I give up!!! I need the help of a Mystery Box!!!
-
@gelecrtode This passes muster mechanically, but it would be a pain in the butt for the rules team and for DCI judges all across the land. It's a good thing it's an 8 drop!

Everything can kill you, you can't be too careful!

He-Man had a lot of weird supporting characters. None, perhaps, weirder than Stinkor (but Fisto and Ram-Man would like to have a word with you; assume the position.) When Skeletor realized he was really stinky, he put him in an outlandish costume w…

Like, for instance, here's a card that I think is brilliant. You never get anything in Magic about how butterflies can have a deadly sting. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/sting-of-the-monarch

Because I make so many cards all the time, some of my cards get overlooked. Or maybe they're not as good as I think they are. How do I direct attention to old cards that may not have gotten a good look?
-
@bobman111 I have updated my post, above, to show the Alpha cards I used as inspiration.
-
@Fallen_Lord_Vulganos you are the art director and you designed the look of the card, so that counts. You made the card the way you like, so it's a compliment for you too
-
Per the instructions, Oakes would be a card to play in the Maeve deck. Now we need a golgari selesnya or gruul commander.
-
@bobman111 do you want me to post the cards that my cards are based on, or is it evident?
-
New commander! https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/maeve-maccaly Who wouldn't want to have a kithkin as their commander?

@DoctorFro before he was a henchman, he was enslaved in the kitchens of a naughty illusionist. That's why he hates potatoes - it's all he did every day, peeling potatoes. So he's trained as a terrible chef. Viola!

Here is Lobberknot at CMC 5 https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/goblin-chef-1
-
@doctorfro you have helped me think about this some more and I appreciate it. I'm going to go in a different direction...
-
Ohhh he must be a CMC 4 or 5! Thank you guys. I’ll keep thinking about him for a few more hours.
-
Wonderful entries, everyone. Great job!
-
@doctorfro jund you say? Why green? I'm intrigued.
-
This incarnation of Lobberknot illustrates his penchant for sorta hanging around in the back until someone says something that sets him off, at which point he jumps in and goes crazy. Also note the toad on his head. Her name is Jane II, and she is …
-
I give up. My imagination has run dry. Help me Obi-Wan @jpastor , you’re my only hope!
-
@doctorfro you have given me an idea. Not an assassin like the job, but sometimes Lobberknot just gets triggered and goes off on someone. I wrote the card and I will make it and post it soon. Thank you!
-
@TenebrisNemo Lobberknot isn't much of an evolver. He doesn't have a character class or anything. What should I do?
-
Flying is third in red? Huh! Wow
-
OMG he won that is wild
-
@sorinjace when I looked at split second, none of the existing cards had this effect. Do you mean there should be another keyword ability? Or an alternative casting cost? I am confused.
-
Gosh... two weeks left

Unfortunately we don't have the P3K set symbol. If we did, I would use it for this delicious card. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/leirenyuans-rice-bowl
