@tenebrisnemo I don’t see anything broken about your card. I like to keep with established and supported subtypes because it reinforces tribal themes and effects; however sometimes no current creature subtype works properly. I had that problem wit…

@thefriendlygeek thank you! Ahhh the ol' lightning rod, and he also has Undying! Now if he had an ability that would allow him to remove that counter from himself...

@battlesocke it would have taken no time at all to template it if I just wanted to make a Lord Lord. But I made it that way to be an interpretation nightmare. It’s an un-Card! Then I went back and parsed it all out and wrote the explanation becaus…

I wonder if we will ever have another daily challenge

Weird. Here are my entries: Ancestral Insight is based on Ancestral Recall, but it has an ante component. Boman's Jet is based on the dexterity aspect of Chaos Orb. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/ancestral-insight https://mtgcardsmith.co…

oh neat @thecenteroftheuniverse

Gosh... It is undercosted because it kills an artifact every turn with no further investment, including those with hexproof or those that are indestructible. I suggest a CMC of 5 or 6, leaning toward 6, even though it eats itself.

@ningyounk it's an interesting mechanic. I noticed some folks playing in the "equip a player" space this week.

@battlesocke, the two-toned border is meant for cards that use hybrid mana. You might want to use the green/blue/gold border instead? But honestly, that looks fine to my eyes - just not how they make the actual cards @gelectrode I commented on the …

Thank you for the clarification!

The white border is kind of faint, but I did use it here. THIS IS AN ENTRY https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/clockwork-eagress-1 https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/egg-14

@Shadeshinobi1 that card has a name disagreement

Here is an example of a normal card using the new blue border to get a throwback look. NOT AN ENTRY

Here is a card I'm very proud of. I like resource denial (even though it's out of vogue at the real R&D right now.) I think this card it makes for a lot of interesting choices. NOT AN ENTRY

Historic is a strange case. It is correct to do either one, but the older was is "an historic." English is so crazy

NOT and Orc, but an orcish card:
-
I don't know whether this counts because it doesn't use one of the new borders. It's also something a little different because it's a creature and not an artifact.
-
@shadow123 The two abilities tie together nicely with the flavor and art. It’s a good card and I would play with it in the right deck - like if some big red deck came back

@bnew07 I am impressed that you have a new grading system. Is it an experiment or do you intend to adopt it or what? Cards to consider favoriting: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/wee-seedriders https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/snack-time-1

@Corwinnn, I really like the lighter colors for lands which have a color identity and for blue cards - the border reminds me of early prints such as Arabians and Revised. I’ve switched over to mostly using the artifact borders for these purposes. …

@Sylux it's an interesting collection of abilities. I'm not sure it hangs together thematically, but then again, I'm not sure it doesn't

It makes me feel good that I was able to win, and also beat out zero other entries Friday, June 1, 2018 Challenge: Create a creature with power and toughness 6/1. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/orcish-airplane

@ningyounk I was referring to the second kind of card, but both could be important.
