@Revan yeah, I couldn't find the time but I always meant to enter it.
-
@Norzael faved/commented. I'm very proud of this card, but at the same time I've never designed anything like it before. Is it overpowered? Imbalanced? What can I do to improve it?

Othei hails from Bontios, a small, isolated plane of harsh deserts and mountains where the vicious Kashadarki Clans, the nomadic Volo nation, and the Awakener Cult vie for control of its struggling populations. Othei is a leading figure amongs the A…

@sorinjace reading over I think jpastor means this: 1. Make a card in the vein of Bloodbond March, Funeral March, and Mirror March. 2. Post a criteria for all others who post after you to follow. Consequences are described above.
-
Heeeeere's Urza! @jpastor another box, por favor.
-
@Revan keywords are never capitalized unless they're the start of a sentence. So "cannot have or gain deathtouch", not "cannot have or gain Deathtouch."
-
I tried hard to find the artist, but as this was an obscure album cover, it was pretty much impossible.
-
@shadow123 commented and favorited Destructive Deflection. My thoughts on Focused Meditation and meditate: - The mana cost seems good. It's pretty balanced. - The ability is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too niche to warrant a keyword ability. You want a c…

@Revan only the first keyword is ever capitalized: Trample, riot (riot reminder text)
-
@sorinjace, I'll take that bump! An aura that doesn't do much for the first few turns, but quickly spirals out of control unless dealt with.
-
1984 babyyyyyy Winston's creature type is meant to be human.
-
@Revan honestly I'd be a big fan and I don't want to say it's bad after you took all that time to make a card for me, but one of the last two abilities should be taken off because they render each other useless. For example, why would you want to ta…

Make a kithkin for me whose name or flavor relates to my name.
-
@Revan Amazing, Aetherpunk needs to be a genre now.
-
Do whatever you want with the card as long as you incorporate the name well.
-
Monks for Bant? It worked for Jeksai, and red isn't much more monkish than green...obviously it'll be far less noncreature spell-focused but having a creature type can't hurt. Seems to work with card draw too, I could see ETB abilities work as well.

Hey @AxNoodle, how's this for a deal? The apprentice sat half-proudly, half-terrified in the rickety carriage. It was sleek and well-built in good Saklinian fashion, but also dusty and old, joints creaking with every spin of the wheel. Perhaps t…

EDIT: Fixed Repeating Revelations.
-
@Pepperoni you need to give feedback on the previous card if you want to comment.
-
@Norzael ok, I was hoping to keep those cards but it's your contest and your rules so there's not much I can do is there? I'll be keeping the sorcery I made, though, which is meant as support for a miracle deck.
-
@Norzael you did say it's an instant or sorcery ability, but I think that the creature entries should be counted. For example, Faiths_Guide's Promised Phoenix is one of the most creative entries I've seen in the challenge, and nothing on the ability…
-
@ThePhantomJoker I love that approach and I'm already planning entries, but prizes do incentivize other cardsmiths to join... Obviously you can do whatever you want and I'm in no matter what, but some form of prize will probably help with getting t…

@Faiths_Guide commented and favorited on Promised Phoenix.

Behold... creatures with miracle! But in all honesty, I decided to do this because even though miracle technically is an instant/sorcery ability, it works with permanents too, so why not try it out?
-
@HeroKP maybe something even more nefarious...
-
-
@HeroKP to clarify, what is happening with my card is that the Children of Ruin are destroying the dragons' habitat and descending into the caves and catacombs of the mountains to avoid the blast.
-
Bump (Anyone want to help?)
-
@Temurzoa, genius! I love the card's concept, I don't see any major design/formatting flaws, and the flavor is incredible too. If I had to find a gripe, it's a gold 2-mana 1/1 with an ability that doesn't really do much without buildaround, which …
