Dang! I've been on a roll, lately, and now we're not judging anything for almost two more weeks?! Just kidding, I'm fine. I'm sure whatever I come up with next will be just as awesome...or complete garbage. One or the other. I'm really excited …

@FireOfGolden You must tell the child the rules about 47 more times before you start feeling like a Mom.

Yeah, a bad AI wouldn't be able to have as much consistency in their cards, and a good AI would make better cards. This looks like 90% chance of troll, 10% chance of someone that just doesn't know any better. Either way, it's pretty unfortunate.

Prof mentioned a "mulligans matter" set as a horrible idea on a video recently, and I haven't been able to shake the thought of what that could even look like. I decided to take a shot at something that might appear in such a set. Here it is: L…

I agree that this card is technically pretty close to flawless. Nothing about it is over powered, over costed, a flavor fail, a color break, or non-functional. It takes a pretty popular card (Fleshbag Marauder) and gives it a little something extr…

Okay, it was a while ago, but my prompt was to create a monored elf with an attitude. Coincidently, I initially read it as monocolored, but had started making a monored elf anyways, because monogreen seemed too typical. Anyways, here's my card:

Can you review my idea for a new token? Here's my first card that creates Book tokens, and I'd like them considered in the possibility of where they would fit in amongst the food, treasure, blood, clue, etc. tokens of which we've all seen too many.…

@smax765 I really like the concept. It's extremely flavorful for what your card is supposed to be describing. I'm not really sure what white is doing in there, since this seems like a VERY red card, but, as it's primarily a defensive trick, I don'…

I wanted to create something along the lines of treasures, clues, food, etc. but I made it an enchantment, since, well, there's enough artifact interaction in the game. Here's what I came up with. Book token (A colorless enchantment token with {t}…

A card with a flashback cost of a different MV and color:

A Green Giant, not too Jolly: And I'll take another.

Found it. Thanks!

I couldn't find my review of War of Casualties. It says the video was removed. I know YouTube can be finicky, so I thought you'd want to know.

I'll take a box.

Sorry to anyone that has been stuck judging the same cards of mine week after week. I've been moving, and caught up in selling my home, buying a new one, getting a new job lined up, etc. I'll try to be more active for a while moving forward.

Though I question whether a creature without a color is a good match for a beginner, it does make sense and my wife says she could play it just fine.
-
Here's my spicy challenge: Create a card that has more than one variable value (X mana cost, * power or toughness, etc.) but that wouldn't seem outrageous to add to a beginner level deck. (P.S. My wife will judge the card, she's played four or fiv…

I consider myself a talented musician, and a mediocre artist. It didn't take much to become good enough to recognize what it is I'm drawing, but I know for a fact that even if I were to devote tremendous amounts of time to improving my artistic ski…

That makes a tremendous amount of sense. I hadn't considered the sourcing of the image generator to be considered theft, largely due to the fact that, if done by a human, certainly would be considered transformative enough to fall easily under the …

Create a multicolored creature with an ability that costs {1}: Also, thank you for the 2nd place rating! It feels great to be appreciated.

Maybe not my place to say, but tapping down other fliers (potential blockers) makes it much more evasive. I read this as absolutely complementing flying.
-
@LvB That's actually not the case. Creatures stay creatures, enchantments stay enchantments, artifacts stay artifacts. This only affects the sub-types, so if you have a Creature - Soldier, the Soldier part is the creature type, the creature part i…
-
@Creid233 Yeah, I wanted to just say subtypes, but I don't ever actually see that on any real card text, which, I agree, is weird. I agree, this would be a absolute rules nightmare, but, it's also a really cool effect that interacts with a lot of t…

@jpastor My office Wi-Fi blocked the image you attached. What was the cost I'm looking for?
-
@Creid233 This seems really cool. I'd be curious if future battles (that aren't sieges) will work with this, or if they'll become too good. We've all seen those cards that start fairly balanced, but then we get more stuff to go with them and they …

And this is why I'll never invite @TheKeefMan to my game nights. Cool card idea, though.

@theirintheattic I 100% agree that there is a lot of value to using real art, and you pointed out some reasons that's worth your while. I'm really concerned about your initial argument, which both seems unsupported and almost immediately contradict…

I think that the issues with AI art are more about whether they can compete with or even replace human generated artwork, as well as designating ownership of such art, since both the AI programmer and the user of the program both can claim it's thei…

A spell that copies something other than a creature: I'll take another box.
