The quote in the flavor text is from a video game named Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (1997).

@Commando - Sure, I would not have any problems with that either. You should also consider having other judge(s) as you go through the cards again. It would be wise, since there are so many decent entries.
-
@Usaername - Obviously they don't need more time to judge as the results are out already. They could have said that they need more time to judge before announcing winners, as there were quite many entries, and I would not have had any problems with …

I'm a bit upset about the results of this challenge. I wouldn't be commenting about this if this wasn't part of the seasonal circuit challenges. "... the results of the challenge based on the number of favorites the card had" is what irks me the mo…

Using my version of Corwinnn's Dismember again:

@Animist - Very flavorful card. Everything in it is top-notch: the name, art, effect, and flavor. Only thing that could be added/changed is some neat LotR set symbol, but this is still perfect as it is! Here's two cards from me. Post a constructiv…

@Corwinnn - I vote for version 5, as it mirrors the Ascend mechanic more than the other versions. Ascend (If you control ten or more permanents, you get the city’s blessing for the rest of the game.)

Old card. My only Hobbit card which I created two years ago as an entry for a contest that was never judged. I designed it to be a bit of the opposite version of Goblin Spymaster.

@Revan - Do you allow old cards as entries?

Using @MTG_Sappy's version of Corwinnn's custom mechanic. Original: Descend (If you have eight or more creature cards in your graveyard, you get the crypt's blessing for the rest of the game.) MTG_Sappy's version: Descend (If you have ten or more p…

@joemamajoe - Even if the design is good, a card is hard to find visually appealing if it has a low quality artwork that covers almost 50% of the card. If people here did not put any effort on artworks of their cards and only focus on the costs, typ…
-
@joemamajoe - Here's my thoughts on your cards. Syr Jack, the Noble Pumpkin: This feels way too risky to have a 1 mana creature that increases power/toughness of other creatures, even though it's a 1/1 legendary. This doesn't feel particularly myt…

Yessss! Even though I lost the last challenge, I can't complain. Another month of premium feels good, and even better with three additional mystery box prizes! Congratulations @MemoryHead for reaching the 1st place, and everyone else who won, especi…

Ye three olde cards: From the movie "Laputa: Castle in the Sky." From the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl." From the movie "The Road to El Dorado." @ChoyBoi - This is a fun contest idea! Would you accept car…
