I'm not sure if this is specific enough to be hate, but it works against big ramp decks as well as decks whose only creatures are tokens.

I was thinking about that, but then it would be strictly worse than Maelstrom Pulse and Utter End. Maybe 3 would work? That way it's still worse than Pulse, but it is an uncommon.
