Just saying I edited my second entry so you had to reveal the card you drew, as you should when followed up by an effect like gaining life.

@Faiths_Guide Yes and no- I like the variance because it makes the results more interesting and provides some use to revealing lands, however I also think its complicated and doesn't fit the flavor of your card. Just my opinion, but I think your car…

@modnation675 Exactly, which is why the mechanic works better in Hearthstone, where mana isn't in your deck. If you drew until you revealed a non-land card I think it would be a wonderful mechanic.

@Faiths_Guide It's pretty interesting, many agree that it was a total failure... Personally I think it's alright, but then again I may be biased because Hearthstone has a very similar mechanic as well

@Credius @pstmdrn You can make a goddess, however as it was mentioned they would still be called a "God". While the name format can be a little limiting it's pretty important for the unity of the pantheon.

My submission. Note that the generals will not only punish those that didn't attack with them, but also those that attack without them... they really are aggressive. The source for the art is noted in the card comments.

Funny you should bring this up, I'm not sure if you're allowing old cards but I actually made a custom mechanic a while back for a plane I created, and it fits the criteria. Here are a couple
