Mystery Challenge: Create a card with MV 8+ whose mana cost can be reduced to 3 or less. Another mystery box please. ?
-
@kaoz42 your mystery box contains: * Mendicant Sustentation Apparatus ? Restore 1 card that's been destroyed from any deadline. (It will be counted this deadline.) * A Mystery Challenge: Create a card that is beneficial to each of 4 players, in a d…

Were the players actually losing badly, or did the GM decide this is the story they want to tell? Neb Xeclazeem could likely counter any actions the cursemonger took while the Mutagenic Infantry prevent Heju's zombies from being effective, so the pl…

Doesn't seem to matter either way, so I suppose I'll pick haste.
-
Hold on, I'd like to use my second action to attempt Curseblight again before the Corpse Walkers attack during our turn.
-
The cursemonger will probe enemy defenses with Curseblight (two -1/-1 counters on each enemy + they each discard a card). If they don't respond, he will follow up with Searing Malice (two more -1/-1 counters on each remaining enemy) and leave the re…

Ogam and Fen will head out to search for herbs.

"Weak" has been clear as mud for 30+ pages. I'll toss this out there for adjudication:
-
To clarify, are we being tasked with creating equipment that have only the specified effects, or may these items have additional abilities in addition to those specified? (If the latter, what other restrictions are there on this quest?)
-
Duucxejial chooses the Helmet of the Snail for Eldric.
-
The cursemonger is curious as to who the knight was and what sect or order they might be affiliated with. While he's not sure what he could possibly turn up in this situation, he'd like to investigate anyway. ~~~ (Brief Background) ~~~ The scalebo…

@Yururu it is not the case that preventing attacks fits within red's color identity (note how the idea of preventing attacks doesn't align with red's aggressive themes). To take a brief look at the cards you brought up: * Varchild is designed for m…

From the players' perspective, using a random number generator at this point is practically equivalent to you choosing the cursed items directly, as it would be difficult to prove that you didn't reroll until reaching a desired subset of items.
-
Laser Tag Challenge: Create a creature with landhome. Could you elaborate on how the Unorthodox challenge is supposed to function? I don't get how I'm meant to use those bullet points.
-
Duucxejial snorts. "How incredibly dull, though I suppose that is only to be expected with how events have progressed thus far. They're probably all enchanted with crippling curses and negligible boons, so let's get this farce over with." The drago…
-
"Do we get any information about how useful these items might be or the severity of the curses, or do you expect us to play a game we're practically guaranteed to not win?"
-
Managing to tamp down his reaction to the defamation against dragons to a few angry twitches, Duucxejial keeps silent until the elves leave. What a shame that such a well-cultivated silver tongue is being wasted on the likes of that one. The dragon…

Create a rare Zombie, Vampire, or Skeleton creature card that has flavor text and exactly two colors in its mana cost.

Galeforge Box Prize 9 Challenge ~ Create a creature with deathtouch of the Silumgar affiliation. Do I now ask for another Galeforge box, or just a regular mystery box? Either way, I'd like to use my Unorthodox Key to open it. ?

"You call this training? Suppression of the self is a pitiful path to walk. One should embrace one's emotions and desires and turn them to useful ends, not fight them. If this is what you call corruption, then I have little to fear from this alleged…
-
The cursemonger raises a brow at the knight's words. "Your words contradict themselves, but why not, let's see what insights you have to offer." (Accepting the training.)
-
The cursemonger shrugs. "Occupational hazard, I'm afraid, though that scroll was shockingly underwhelming. That said, you are…?" (Voting for E.)
-
Duucxejial, remaining vigilant and attentive despite swiftly losing interest, continues to keep silent, affecting boredom as he takes a brief moment during the lull to arrange his thoughts. I wonder if they find it 'elegant' to point one thorn at an…

@FireOfGolden I have no issue with the time limit (especially since it was made explicit from the beginning); in fact I rather enjoy having a campaign that moves significantly quicker than on a weekly basis. I'm more concerned with kaoz42 consistent…
-
Since I have no idea what they eat, I'll put one of each in front of each bear and let them decide.
-
Why are you getting all antsy for when you set a 24-hour time limit on player actions? That said, as we still have no particular objective, I’m mildly interested in continuing exploring the village, but am not particularly attached to doing so if H…
-
I'll try feeding the bears to see if they'll calm down.
-
Might as well try to tame the bears. Ogam seems to have a knack for it, and it shouldn't be too hard to defend himself should his efforts fail.
-
@FireOfGolden I only cast one Curseblight (which doesn't target, so no ward trigger), which should kill the Avatar (2 -1/-1 counters + discards a card and loses 1 life) before I went to cast Searing Malice afterward. Otherwise it looks about right.
-
Nonplussed, Duucxejial will keep silent for now, remaining standing out of habit. (Voting for C)
