@StuffnSuch thanks for the feedback! ? The wording on Spellfracture Prism feels a little wonky (mostly because it messes with the process of casting a spell), so perhaps this would work: Instant and sorcery spells with one or more targets have stor…

@Astrophibian please remember to give feedback on prior card(s) before posting for review, especially when presenting an edit of a previous card. That said, Esia might be one of the most cracked dual lands I've ever seen. Not only can it be fetched …

@bramboy99 do the cards I inline linked to in my previous comment not satisfy your question? (If they don't, then I'm afraid I don't understand what you're asking for.) For example, consider Pentarch Ward and Spectra Ward: Suppose a creature is …

@bramboy99 I derived that effect mainly from cards like these, which circumvent the protection they grant.

@LvB Frigid Fortification functions similarly to Hinata, Dawn-Crowned (e.g. see FireOfGolden's response above). If I may, how did you arrive at that interpretation when the phrase "could target" (as seen on cards like Mirrorwing Dragon) is nowhere t…
-
@FireOfGolden given cards like Last Night Together, Scorching Snail should probably have wording along the lines of: Choose target creature with haste. It gains first strike until end of turn. After this main phase, there is an additional combat pha…
-
@Astrophibian that argument is completely nonsensical. Is Multiple Choice sketchy because it has up to three effects and flexibility while Urza's Ruinous Blast has only one? Is Trading Post broken because it has four effects when Paradox Engine only…

@Astrophibian the two cards you brought up are nigh-wholly incomparable to Firestorm Pollen. Both are legendary, monocolored, of different rarity, and have completely unrelated effects. Perhaps there would be something to unpack if you'd presented c…

@Astrophibian it would be appreciated if you explained your opinion; you've provided no information to serve as a basis upon which a reader can accept/reject your thoughts. @bramboy99 damage dealt by sources with wither is still damage, it just tak…

@bramboy99 in the future please remember to give feedback on prior cards before posting your own for review. That said, here's a brief look at your cards. (I've glossed over a host of wording and formatting issues since you seem wholly unconcerned w…

Feel free to put them on whichever cards strike your fancy.

With nothing better to do and nothing to add, Hanqiu merely shrugs again without reply, intending to follow the Enchelei.
-
Hanqiu shrugs. "I know not what this one is rambling about, but we did indeed make such a pact a handful of days ago. What of it?"

@kaoz42 the “Size” menu that appears when you choose to make a Planeswalker or Saga can be set to 3 or 4.

Honestly, I have no idea how powerful this version will be, mostly because it's heavily dependent on the GM. ??♂️

Whoops, forgot to respond after finishing my grad school homework. ? Ogam intends to only strike in self-defense, regardless of what approach the party takes. (He will not participate in the initial assault if the others vote for B, but otherwise h…

Tinted by Inklings looks fine (if a bit strange), but Corpse Seeker still has the same problems I mentioned last time. Perhaps a more concrete example will help: Imagine Heju casts Corpse Seeker x2. That's two 2/2s (with upside!) for 2 mana, which i…

I'll hop back in if this gets going again.

@FireOfGolden I'll review them in increasing order: Tinted by Inklings ~ Is this meant to give the controller of the target creature the inkling? Assuming it's not, this is very weak considering similar existing spells are instants with additional …

If I may, and please correct me if any assumptions made henceforth are wrong: "We want more freedom of choice!" - "Ok what does your character want to do?" - "Umm, i dont know." While players can get frustrated from being railroaded or otherwise p…

To clarify regarding enchantments, does any damage source from an enchantment count as a "damage spell" so long as it has a damaging ETB, or do only the ETB triggers count?
-
From a meta perspective, there's probably no point considering how this campaign has gone so far. In character, Duucxejial doesn't care either way.
-
Quick question: what qualifies as a "damage spell" for the Sorcerer class?
-
Shall we check the cave? ??♂️

Might as well confirm whatever dead end lies in the other direction (i.e. upstream) and pick up Archie on the way. Edit: That's one crazy suite of debuffs. Looks like encounters are going to be rather dull for the foreseeable future…

Welp, the PCs appear to have no remaining options and there’s no mechanics in play, so it seems they can do nothing but await either their demise or the impending deus ex machina.
-
My confusion stems from that time frame being more than one round by any measure, since Adamant Will was cast during the PCs’ first turn. Either way, the only thing the cursemonger can do at this point is be ready to ping Xarxendroth to death in res…
-
Allow me to ask a slightly different question then: what actions must the PCs take in order to not be immediately stonewalled at every turn?
-
So…to clarify, Xarxendroth buffs himself in response to Heju dealing 2 damage (becoming 2/1), then presumably attacks during his turn (becoming 2/3), then reverts to being a 0/1 at the beginning of the PCs' second turn?
