I need help with a card. My inspiration was "wouldn't it be really flavorful to create a card for the angel tribe that gave angels Miracle?". Well, this is what came out and it's quite wonky and all over the place. I'm open to reworking it completel…

I just want to observe that "Groundbreaking" would itself be an apropos name for a mechanic involving land. However, I have tried countless variations, and none has seemed to quite work in a way that I liked...

Using "Immediate problems require immediate action" http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/spark-snuffing I liked @necarg 's text, so I'm reposting it "No, this is worse." And... from the series Dexter: "Tick, tick tick... that's the sound of your life, run…

Aaaan one I made for this thread. Honestly, I just though Miracle would be a really flavorful ability to give to your angels. http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/prophecy-of-salvation

This one was originally made for the flavor text challenge, designed around the provided flavor text "Hunted by the heavens, hated by hell." http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/adrial-the-solitary

I think this card is flavorfully apropos http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/urzas-memory-1 And this one! http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/chandra-cryomaster

@DomriKade , It's a start, but it doesn't really change the zero-sum aspect of the mechanic, just doubles the strength of it in general. If I had this shade and a second creature, I would still prefer to have a non-shade as my second creature rather…
-
@Grimshac - I'm guessing he did it that way because the site doesn't offer the tribal type
-
@TurkeyAsylum - I love shades, and I would love to make a tribal shade deck. The problem is that the Shade mechanic is zero-sum and inherently anti-tribal. It would be cool to print some cards that could fix that though!

Well considering it was directly inspired by one of the cards already on your list. http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/madcap-confidant

I like the idea! I will be entering soon, just need the right idea & art

Knights are common enough as a recurring type, but have very little tribal synergy, so I thought it was time to fix that: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/kazem-the-causes-united As a bonus, he makes a great commander.

Thanks for your take on Switcharoo!

Yay! Ok, um, if you like multiplayer, make a card with either of my multiplayer mechanics (feedback or switcharoo) http://mtgcardsmith.com/user/fabiocbinbutter/sets/5138 http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/moonlit-steel If you don't like multiplayer (you …

Yay! Thank you. Honestly, with the subject being humorous, I didnt think I would win, but I do like the Philosoraptor mechanic a lot Here are my cards: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/gaeas-confidant-1 http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/grim-riddle http://…

Yes, this mechanic is much better overall, and I'm glad you agreed with my feedback. I templated the reminder text as a triggered ability since that would be more typical, I hope that's ok. So green first had wall of blossoms, then white copied it…

I would also put the card on the bottom rather than shuffling it. For something that may be happening a lot, shuffling becomes a physical burden
