First, all Hail QUsaername for the Mercadian Masques card (brilliant)! The sole problem being, shuffling cards in play is unpredicented. As the start of what I think is Magic's most maligned block, I had never explored that plane…

Mortal engines is "set in a post-apocalyptic world where entire cities have been mounted on wheels and motorized" so yes. Not a great movie but sounds like good background. You also might want to check out the Dragonmech RPG - a D&d setting whe…

I'll play. just wondering does it have to be a new one created for the contest or can you use one you've already created and done some work on.

Problem with Storm - no Storm hosers like this: Go ahead, make my play.

This is a card I made while summer dreaming this winter. I normally do not enter old cards, but you didn't specify and you did mention it by name: Inspirations - Sand Golem, Snow Fortress. It is on my plane Ahzmandia, insired in par…

Last Call, closes for judging - which is going to be tough, at midnight!

Sounds a bit like Mortal Engines. Was there an apocalypse? A few thoughts: on the cities Zezuklet should be the flying one/y Philael - somegody ought to be a giant things with legs walking around Novaseum a ship - see the smoker tanker on Waterwor…

Card additions 1) A card which makes land generate tokens. Didn't want to just make Saprolings because that would be too similar to Squirrel nest. So. Pests are new, so why not use them? 2) A creature born from the gr…

Sure!

Well no reason it can't work as long as people keep it friendly.

They do not. I just used that because, you know they only use black ink and are new. Here is a super-vanilla example with a little in joke: See what a pretty birdie. But I doubt the art would ever be printed on a regular card.

These two sisters just made it to the big leagues and might be met Valor's Reach. Of note, their manager is helping to arrange matches that let them put the smackdown on evil!

Hi, for various reasons I don't want to get involved in this massive superthread. But i am curious about 2 things. I was thinking of making a galley for you guys as like, community service. 1) Are cards being officially ruled as "in" the set? …

I'm pretty smart and know the game well but am like huh? on first read. It seems making sure your opponent's deck fits the rules would be a a problem if you don;t jsut trust them. This seems like a MUCH more complex version of Emporer. It …

I've found a flip or twist can let us recycle existing symbols and see two that could work: For this case: a twisted Simic might do: If interpreted as wind one side has a united, serrated scimitar blade and the other is a dividing flow of chaotica…

This crazy cat lady wound up off-color and with non-standard flying interactions. Sometimes, is is good to remember Spinxes do eat people....this one is Graeae sort of seer. If it she's hungry, she does consider watching your reacti…

Check out the difficulty of Archaeology in the amazon. it's been killing people for centuries. Your mention of it actually gives Urza a reason a super-obvious reason for visiting the plane back in the day. Card idea - an artifact that used to be …
