Maybe if it’s an aura Rarg can. Auras are RW and Rarg has experience with them. Trying will not make us to die.

Interesting. I never thought about piercing on a creature, just as passive effect for instants and sorceries.

Maybe the chains have hexproof… @LvB could Rarg investigate the chains to know it’s stats? And Rarg obviously votes for option C.

For piercing I know it’s your mechanic, I just used a easier wording for it (anyways, I forgot protection). As a removal will always say “destroy/exile target creature”, a counter spell “counter target spell” and boardwipes don’t care about hexproof…

To slain the guard, Wenkman should cast silence before Duucxejial attacks, then we are omitting the absorb and the resilient abilitires and we have time to recover as we slain the officer (that can’t attack us).

I attack a dwarf damaged by duucxejial and then cast storm strike onto it, killing one of our enemies. I untap for free and keep my last action.
