Charming Choices
I recently came up with a rainbow deck that is (essentially) all charms (you know, Abzan Charm, Izzet Cham, Esper Charm, etc.), since I like having lots of choices for lots of different situations (and also because I like confusing people). So I was wondering what some of you guys would come up with if you made your own charms.
Rules:
--The name must be "[-word-] Charm".
--It must have at least three modes to choose from, and you only get one effect (we aren't doing commands or confluences...yet...)
--Any number of entries is fine, any CMC is fine.
I will judge in about a week (maybe, depends on the number of entries). Winner gets a custom Esoterica card from me.

Probably going to come up with another, fresher one though.

It is still technically a charm since it has three choices and you can only choose one, but only if you use life to pay the Phyrexian mana.

Most Broken Card: Ink-Treader Charm by @CrucibleOfHate
Aside from being an unconventional "charm" by being 4 colors and giving 4 choices (which I liked), it didn't take long to discover that every choice except the buff was absolutely busted. Assuming you're playing a rainbow (or almost-rainbow) deck, Ink-Treader Charm can be Opportunity for 4, or a ridiculous Control Magic-type instant that's also delayed removal, or you can just copy some ridiculous spell twice (I immediately thought of casting one of these, picking the draw 5 effect, then casting another to copy it twice, making me draw 15 cards total. Oh yeah, there's a Sphinx's Tutelage sitting on my board so I can mill you (almost, if not completely) to death with my 15 triggers.
3rd Place: Delban Charm by @Gelectrode
By far the most balanced one here in terms of it's drawbacks (I'm sorry Equity Charm, but it was easier to find ways to break you than this one.) This was also the hardest charm to use for the same reason. Not really much else to say here aside from nice job on the balancing, although it could be argued that this was too balanced.
2nd Place: Corwinnn's Charm by @Ginge
I always laugh when I see someone make a new Corwinnn card (what the heck is up with the squirrels...), and this one seemed really fun. Squirrel version of Raise the Alarm, Squirrel Tribal-based buff, or give all my creatures trample until end of turn? That last one seems a little ridiculous, but the mostly tribal aspect of the card balanced that out.
1st Place: Ghost-Lit Charm by @Tomigon
When I first saw this card, I didn't even have to playtest it, I knew that I would love a card with this much utility, and that everyone I know would hate me if a card like this existed. Stopping removal is annoying, sudden power reductions are annoying, and the ability wiping thing is perhaps the most annoying part of all. This is a perfect example of how blue is by far the most annoying color to play against because of all the control.
Great job @Tomigon. If you could post some details of how you play MtG, I will begin crafting your Esoterica shortly. Also, the next contest is going to be for Commands! :P
Congrats to all the winners!!!
I hate blue cards, so I think I know what annoys me!
Other than that, my play style is confidential matters
Thanks for the contest! That was very fun!
Either ways, thanks for placing my card in 3rd place!
Lol, congratulations to all the winners!
