**Insanity counters cause the insane creature to attack the defending player every turn but is no longer controlled by the attacking player and thus just runs into the defending player during each combat regardless of who originally had control of the creature
Heres my first entry: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/ekkonox-watcher-of-eons?list=set&set=4262 I thought about trying to create an acient creature, that has been living in the oceans for many thousand years. Also tried to make it more of a underwater version of a sphinx, in the sense that it is not simply a monster sentered around brute force, but rather an intellectual being.
I don't want to sound like a whiny child, but I don't understand how you can have this contest that is super-popular when I have a deck challenge that is basically ignored. Is there some unspoken guide I'm missing here?
You just have to make a challenge that isn't TOO much and work that is fun. Make a good prize, and get people's attention if it really isn't being noticed. I haven't seen you're contest yet (but I'll check it out) but it sounds like it takes a LOT of work.
I have one on a deck(hard) and one on a new enchantment type (basically an aura, but with color-changing properties). I can see why the deck one would be ignored (only 2 responses), but the enchantment type with 0... idk. Maybe it's because I made it 10 minutes ago? heh @llamalord44
@dudedaniel seriously? What do you think? Of course it's because it was only up for ten minutes! You can't expect anyone to enter something that quickly.
@dudedaniel - It's kind of a hit or miss as far as getting interest in a challenge. People aren't on all the time, and at this time of the year, with the holidays, and shopping, and family obligations, you'll have to be patient and hope for the best. One key thing is to keep things relatively simple and enjoyable, and if one challenge doesn't take off, then maybe the next one will! XD
Btw, thanks so much to all of you who entered in my contest! This was my first contest, and I'm very happy that so many people participated! Again, good luck, I'm beginning judging now.
