From the Vault: Countermagic

Hi guys!

I was just thinking about counter spells and the idea of countering in Magic, and I thought it would be cool if there was a From the Vault "set" that was a collection of counter spells. Because of the title "Countermagic", any spell that could counter something (like Counterspell or a creature that has flash and when it enters the battlefield, it counters target spell) would work.

The top 15 cards will receive likes and will be placed in a set title "From the Vault: Countermagic", and the top 3 contestants will receive a follow. The cards will receive credit in comments. This contest ends December 26, the day after Christmas.

Bet I'm the only one to come up with something like this.
And by this I mean people don't usually think of a self-spell counterer when they hear the word 'counterspell'. I'm not meaning to boast.

I have a few cards I could submit for this, but I was wondering @MagicChess if we could submit old cards or if we had to create new ones. Thanks!

I find it hard to believe, although it is entirely possible, that someone has made that exact card.

Not to mention I meant 'I will probably be the only one who comes up with a counterspell in this exact contest that counters your own spell'.

Also, I don't think you've even been on this site for a year.

I do think you'll be the only one to submit it to the contest, yes, as people tend to avoid steering too close to other people's designs.

You might find it hard to believe, but people have been designing custom mtg cards for longer than we've had this website. :P

Technically speaking, @Corwinnn, belief is 'pretending', I suppose, you know something, when you're not absolutelysure . For example, I would believe that there was a card on MTGCardsmith called 'Father Christmas, Evil Bloke' if I wasn't sure that there was a card with that name created on this website. But, if I saw a card called Father Christmas, Evil Bloke on MTGCardsmith, I would no longer believe there was a card with that name, rather know there is a card with that name. ^ ^
