Legendary Creatures' Support

Behind every great hero, there're even greater people who help these great men and women get to where there are. I'd like to see some cards based on supporting legendary creatures.

I've already got a few, so here's just one example:

The idea originally came to me when I opened a Fate Reforged booster pack and got a foil Hero's Blade. (http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=391852)

Rules!

The card should be kinda weak on its own, or have some kind of debuff (like defender).
It should be within 2-6 CMC.
Try to make it balanced.
Optional: Flavor Text that shows how they help heroes or would prefer their name not to be remembered.

This is a challenge, not a contest. If I want to turn it into a contest, I'll be the judge, but there wouldn't be any prizes, as I currently have no money and make cards on MTGCardsmith as a hobby.

Deadline: July 15th

Typically, as cardsmiths, we make prizes as Custom designed cards or favorites on cards. Only the website gives out actual prizes in their sponsored events, so you don't need to worry about all that.
