Regnor Elves are very technologically adept, and are generally attributed with White or Blue mana.

The idea behind this card is that, after the near destruction of Zendikar, many of the Elves, particularly the Joraga, began to starve. So they turned to a more grotesque form of sustenance. These radical Elves soon learned a side effect of eating their own kind: they gained strange, dark power the more they consumed.
