http://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Ydoplus_of_Forduuath/sets/16407 This is Itamus, a giant desert plane full of strange monsters like giant worms and centipedes. Alakil Wyrm, an evil conquerer is trying to rule the entire plane. A long time ago, the people there were protected by Salvos, a great hero, who defeated Alakil in a duel once, but he has disappeared. Alakil, who had been afraid of him, now runs freely... except Salvos has returned! Although he acts strange, never talking to anybody, never staying for more than enough time to drive away the enemy, never really fighting, just inspiring other to fight. But who cares? He's back! Or is he? You see, Salvos Returned is just an illusion made by Exon, a planeswalker who wants to save Itamus. Meanwhile, an explorer named Tarred Marklem found ancient magic swords throughout the entire plane. He brought them to the king of the largest settlement in Itamus: Scorpio. Little did he know of the power of the swords, and when captured by Alakil, gave the swords away in exchange for his freedom. All but one, that is; the sword of heroes is kept safely with the king. Alakil, though, is getting braver, sending more troops to recover the sword and see the true power of them combined.
Itamus was once ruled by dragons. Humans blindly fought them, not knowing what evils the dragons were driving away. Finally, seeing that their help was not wanted, the dragons left, leaving swords around Itamus. If they were ever to be combined, the bearer could summon the dragons again.
@Decaldor Just so you know, your link is broken. You can't be on your name page when you get your link for the set, you have to be on the profile page (The one where you click profile, not your name.)
Hi I'm new and I got this cool thing going and I want to make it bigger. so please don't end this because i think mines is a new concept. oh and where are the rules?
The Conspiracy Set was not real Conspiracy. Real Conspiracy was the world my parents grew up in: Father versus son. Daughter versus mother. Your own lawyer and mother testifies against you. The judge declares you guilty before a trial. That was the world my parents grew up in. My great-grandfather died in it. Numerous great-uncles died in it. My grandma's brother was on death row. (He was acquitted.) And this is all a true story. My family has a rich safe job in America right now as computer engineers, but they watched death float by back before they arrived here. My grandparents were worse off. My grandma would be a millionaire, yet the money was confiscated when her house was surrounded by soldiers. My great-great grandma was gunned down. My great-grandpa escaped with my grandma and her sister.
I can tell the whole story later.
But long story short, the Conspiracy Set was not even Conspiracy. Read Game of Thrones for real stuff.
@TrippleBoggey3 I am not criticizing the concept of such planes, but the idea isn't unique if it has been done before. The only thing I am asking for is UNIQUE planes. Also, I don't know much about you, so which war/regime are you referring to? Please reply in a PM.
See rules, "that WoTC has never conceived of, much less visited." Some of @KJMartin cards even reference(d) Paliano, the capital of Fiora, the setting for conspiracy.
Since my plane has expanded more, I thought I should add a little bit more about it, especially in regards to the green mana, and a whole bunch of other things that have come up since I posted here.
First, I introduced a green dragon named Nurinduir. The story here is that a few years ago, whispers from the void told the leaders of Denasai and Kirvitch that the dragons sought to undermine their power, and if the games of Denasai and Kirvitch were to continue, the dragons must be defeated. So, both Denasai and Kirvitch teamed up and eliminated all dragons, except for one, whom they never could defeat. That one is Nurinduir, a dragon who imposes pacifism on all of those in his presence. Both Denasai and Kirvitch in their vies for power have exploited the land, destroying much of the beautiful nature that existed on he plane. Nurinduir, and some of his remaining nature allies seek to keep these remaining lands safe from Kirvitch and Denasai.
Additionally, I should mention that the being from the void has an extensive influence on the plane; so much that any whispers are instantly acted upon by Denasai and Kirvitch in order to keep their positions. But, there are some among Kirvitch and Denasai who are beginning to see the problem. So, two of these individuals, one from Kirvitch and one from Denasai, seek out a myth; a shaman by the name of Feren Iadekus, known as either the Eternity Sage or the Eternity Seer. It is said he is so powerful that neither Denasai nor Kirvitch will go even remotely close to him. But he is perhaps the most knowledgeable on Satheaux regarding this "being of the void"
And so, the story line of this set is not a continuation of this status quo. In fact, it is the alignment of one from Denasai, one from Kirvitch, and one from the wilds, to overthrow the tyranny of a being they can neither see nor fight, but whom they hope to draw out through extensive conflict. Those inflicted by the magic restrictions of this being quickly rally behind this cause, as do the remaining protectors of the wild, but when the time comes, will Kirvitch and Denasai be able to throw down old allegiances to this being, or will they stand against the rest of the plane? Can Denasai and Kirvitch look past their political games, and fight against tyranny, or will they stay pawns of this corrupting being?
It's judging time! I have the following entries because their creators have actually made a new story for all of them, and they bear minimal resemblance to any real Planes.
1st place goes to @RohanDragoon with Satheaux. This is by far the most interesting of the planes it has a well put-together story, with a cohesive set and some ingenious card design. Good job.
2nd @Decaldor This is a really unique plane and I've never seen anything like it, and it is very mechanically interesting. But it's so small that I can't really see how cohesive it could be.
3rd place goes to @DragonFaceEater Your planes does have a similar story to new phyrexia, but you made it different enough mechanically and thematically that it gets 3rd place.
Honourable Mention #1: @ShadowKnight1224 Your set is mechanically interesting, but I'm not sure what is going on with the story, and the set isn't very cohesive. I think you tried to cram to much into too small a space.

Perhaps Bolas, perhaps another. Only time will tell whose influence dominates Satheaux
