It's not that great but I love it, I love it's ability, and I really like using it. Transcendent Master. http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=194917

I haven't been playing Magic for very long - started playing at the tail end of M15 just before Khans of Tarkir was released. My favourite set (block? I still don't know the difference) would probably be Return to Ravnica, simply because I love the flavour of the Guilds, and the first draft I played in was a Return to Ravnica draft, which I also won! (As a result I am now addicted to Draft and have organised 4 separate drafts myself with my friends)

Most prized possession is a hard one - I could just say Sarkhan Unbroken or another PW simply because they're expensive, but the card that I value highly and that has a lot of background to it is Cancel. Yep. Specifically the Cancel from M12.
I began playing at school lunchtimes where my computing teacher had a bunch of those 30 card starter decks you can get for free, and my friends and I jumped into this on insistence of one of us who had been playing for several years now. I chose Blue, and won my first game by Cancelling the opponent's big finishing green dude, after which I commented that Cancel is pretty much just the "Nope!" card. Fast forward to a few weeks later and I had bought a green-blue M15 intro pack and modified it to become a counter-ETB deck, nicknamed the "Nope" deck, which made me instantly notorious for countering absolutely everything my opponent did (as it had more than 16 counterspells of various flavours in it. Also shoutout to Stormtide Leviathan for being an awesome wincon in said deck and for being inexplicably consistent even though there's only one of you.)

So yeah. In this short year or so, the card I have with the most story behind it is that Cancel (and its three other identical twins of course). I wouldn't think of it as my most prized possession at once, but now I think on it I'd be loathe to lose it or otherwise.
  • Mikaeus the Unhallowed. First mythic I ever pulled and second pack ever opened! I've always kept it close and in varying EDH/Commander games. I think it also sparked my love for Black and Zombie cards :)
  • my favorite card would have to be my serra avatar. you just don't get a better lifegain card when you give lifelink to it.
  • Man, you guys are so good with luck XD

Anyways, I started in M15 (late bloomer) and I really liked it, but i had no good cards.
My favorite set has to be M15, nat because i started out with it, but because it had such a feel that none of the cards really were centered around one idea, like m14 with slivers and mill. That also made it an exellent set for EDH, but my favortie card must be.....

Yissan, The wander bard from M15. I dont acctually have the card but i really wish i do. In fact, I have a whole EDH deck just waiting for when I get him, cuz he can be incredibly OP.
  • Probably either Spellheart Chimera (yes, I know it sucks).
Or Platinum Angel, which is beast.
  • Mine is my Flooded Strand Expedition, not because it is expensive, but because the art is so cool. Looking it up online does not do it justice. The foil is really quite beautiful on it. I do have a lot of cards that I like because they are sentimental, though.
  • Most Expensive: I don't actually know - There are 8 cards work around $15
Favorite: Lys Alana Huntmaster, but I only own it online
Favorite I own: Mirror Mad Phantasm. I love it's self mill abilities.
  • Favourite card from Kaladesh: My foil Verdurous Gearhulk, but Voltaic Brawler and Electrostatic Pummeler are close behind (You can probably guess I'm an energy fan), then from SOI/EMN, has to be Ishkanah. Got a foil prerelease version (got from a friend) and a normal, then my next favourites (from any set) are Young Pyromancer and Lightning Bolt.
  • Favourite planeswalker has to be Garruk Relentless.
  • My most prized possession? Has to be the shockland we put through the shredder in our back garden. It survived pretty well, actually.
  • My cousin and I pulled a "Zendikar Expeditions: Marsh Flats", and we sold it.
  • @Faiths_Guide... so... not really "prized".
    XD
  • I prize $89!
