    Maybe...? (I've made a deal, but that's not the point)

    I'll try to give more hints to make this more approachable.

    1. The pictures clearly aren't QR code. Try reading them as ... (ponders about how to phrase it without giving it away) numbers.
    2. Once you decrypt the first picture, the second picture should also result in a message. I've already given a hint about that before.
    3. Time shifts. Planes shift. Letters shift.
    Alphabets shift.

    Also I'm pretty sure we're not going to die in two days.

    I should leave now, for I've got (home)work to do.
