Just have fun making a cycle of cards.

Now here are a few rules to keep in mind.
1.-There can be a min. of 3 but it is recommended to have 5 cards in the cycles.
2.-Please don't put in too op cards in this challenge.
3.-Try not to copy off on others.
4.-Have fun.

I made that cycle back when I was no good at doing flavor text. Also, I assume we should leave out all the cycles that people have been making recently for other challenges, or are those fair game?

I've got a few cycles within a joke set I'm working on, but unfortunately Cardsmith isn't able to do everything I need, so I've been making them in Magic Set Editor. I've made imgur albums of a couple of relevant cycles.

Bolts
First of all, I have the _ning Bolts, which are all 1-cost instants. There are 2 in each color (3 in blue), +1 artifact +1 colorless:

Trainers
I don't have the art for these yet, or all the mechanics finalised, but these work like splice but for creatures. The main difference is that they're typically useless on their own (and waste a card in hand) but can allow you to overspend to improve creatures.

Hevatars
This was based on someone on Cardsmith writing "He..." after another sentence about a creature. He is a god that takes on the properties of He's believers, making this a tribal set. I'll be making a set of Heathens to counter the Hevans.

Other Cards
Some cards work across mechanical themes/cycles or don't quite fit in. A lot of these are meant to work with other effects in the set, or not to work at all, or I haven't figured them out or balanced them yet. I've tried to group them together as much as possible into their intended patterns.

Should these require you to return an UNTAPPED basic land to your hand instead of simple any basic land you control?

No, and these shouldn't even be rares because there are already the Tap for 2 Mana, enter battlefield return land to hand lands.

@TrippleBoggey3, these have basic land types and don't necessarily enter tapped. I think that makes them distinct from the versions you're talking about-- and it makes them more powerful/complex.

@yousmelllikeapumpkin, thanks! I don't think any of it is official card art, I try not to use WOTC card art whenever possible. Fecund Crag might be card art, I can't recall. And I don't really like the art on Barren Mead, but it's hard to find unofficial art of environments with Hedrons, so I used what I could.
