@Daedalus_The_All_Father You don’t play green? My best deck so far is a white/green one with the concept (very shortened) that white gives protection and green gets enormous.
Whoever wins the Finals Day 1, is the Cardsmith of the Century! The finalists who didn't win are 2nd and 3rd! The wild card is a random person that didn't win their match in the QFs.
Each match, the contestants will post a specific type of card that meets that match's criteria. EX) Today @fire12 and @LordTachanka123 will each design a card with the Storm mechanic. It must have converted mana cost 4 or less. Next match it will be a different mechanic or theme.
Ooh, thing! Time for me to make some colossal blunders in card design! Good luck @shadow123
@joemamajoe Since you seem to be giving hour-specific deadlines (thanks for that, by the way), I get the sense that it's worth it for me to ask which time zone it's for. I'm aware that I operate in a vastly different zone to the majority of people who use the site, and I'd hate to be caught out by it.
For this match, you'll have to design a card with the Conspire mechanic! But, it must be multicolored (gold or hybrid). You have till' Sept 21th, 10:30! That's Eastern Daylight Time.
Good luck to you both! ___________________________________________________________________________________
Conspire(As you cast this spell, you may tap two untapped creatures you control that share a color with it. When you do, copy it [and you may choose a new target for the copy].)
Funnily enough, they introduced the mechanical capacity to copy permanent spells along with Zendikar Rising. And coincidentally, conspire copies spells. Hmm. Where could this train of thought possibly be going?
Here is my entry! Conspire was a difficult mechanic to use creatively for me, especially after MemoryHead used creature copies, so here's my shot at it:
The copy created by Conspire will actually be allowed to counter the original spell and since Silent Denial says "may", you can still cast it when you have no spells of your own on the stack. So, the conspire ability allows you to make this a counterspell if you also tap two creatures.
