It may look like the worst board wipe ever made, but actually you can deflecting palm to kill an opponent with it instead or you can play this with circle of protection to not die to yourself. You can intervention pact to gain 20 life instead, but you usually get killed turn 4 in modern so the only one of those that actually wins doesn't is too slow anyway even assuming no disruption.
I love the overall design. It's simple, elegant, and powerful. My only question is why it's Boros rather than Orzhov. To me, the effect feels more like a WB thing.
Yeah, but white on its own tends to see land destruction (or at least used to before they phased mass land destruction out and all), and black is the more versatile removal color, especially when paired with white or green. I'm not saying Boros is a terrible choice, I just think Orzhov seems more in flavor.
Yeah fair enough. Nuanced color identity stuff like this is fascinating to me. I would've made the design WB, but it's also not out of place in WR.

It was an interesting concept overall, although I didn't get all the Schwarzenegger references :P
