This could not stand. With the little reach Volug allowed himself into the minds of the other highbugs, he understood that they shared his nightmare. This simply could not do. This was about the worst time the Hive could have disputes over leadership, and that's exactly what was about to happen. And the worst part, he couldn't tell the other leaders he had red their mind without arousing their suspicion!
This could not stand. Runa sensed the atmosphere in the meetings, the other two bugs were conspiring. Against each other, perhaps, but definitely against her. If Limac invoked the great battle like in the dream, she could well lose. She has been hiding it for years now, but her power is fading. She is finally giving into old age. No one bug was supposed to live this long. But the hive still needed her to mantain the veil in some part. If she were to die now, the Hive's secrets would be laid bare before they were ready. And the worst part, she wasn't allowed to share her worries without arousing their suspicion!
This could not stand. Limac heard the inner growlings in the hive frequencies. It might as well be the ground shaking, the others from R'jkqueh trying to claim him again. And deep in the knot in his insect nervous system that could supposedly be called his heart, he understood he could not face the others. He wasn't young, by any means, but compared to Volug and Runa he was still a nymph, a larvae even! He simply had not the time to build up their power. And the worst part, he could not express his concern without arousing their suspicion!
@DrakeGladis “Werewolves... I thought they were extinct, Madame Setra.” Sanova seems to be confused, between the horrors the Maviol have seen and his interrupted sleep. “Maybe this is just an illusion brought about by our fear? We’ve all seen a lot tonight. But still. The last sighting of a werewolf was ages ago, a hostile encounter. All we know is folklore. May we pray that these beasts aren’t hostile...”
Setra turns to speak to the werewolf she believes to be in charge, but words fail her. What if these creatures are as vicious as legends told? They surely wouldn’t listen to diplomacy if that was the case. And yet, it would be wrong to assume these creatures violent. “If they have coexisted with elves,” she thought, “then they must not be imminently dangerous.”
Then, Sanova turned to Setra. “I believe it may be better for you if I speak with the wolves, Madame, and for you to speak with the elves.” “A-agreed...” Somewhat trembling, Setra walks over to Queen Rhysmerea, and Sanova lowers his shield, taking Setra’s place across from Alpha Chaemar.
As Reyeva sees these dark hoods wandering around, she approaches one. It seems to be an old man. She hears his words and uses the language archives her guild relies on as one of their only ways of using magic and a way to talk with other species.
"Beware. The worms hunt. They hunt... for you." Reyeva sat down the man in her palace and heard his rambling some more. But, after hours of delicate notes, the black hood turned gold, and the man revealed his face to be a joyous one now.
"For your care, The secrets of how to survive these horrors will be gifted to you, along with the friendship of the hooded."

Zunesha, Phantom Island, home to Jaeger, Horizon Walker and all his wonderful subordinates can move in and out of existence. It's quite lovely, as it has helped the faction survive times before, and certainly will in the growing conflict and the ever-hungry Desolate.
By now, word has spread that the Desolate is moving into the heart of Lakas. Some nations, previously unheard of, claim that they've received prophets of the Desolate who are fanatic over its growth.
In times like these, Zunesha's odd place (or lack thereof) in the plane seem to be the most useful. However, the first sighting of a wurm outside of the Desolate has other plans for the island. Tapping directly into Zunesha's essence, the monster keeps it and all its inhabitants in existence while feeding itself.
It seems as though you'll need a way to defeat it, but there are a few problems: - Its tough scales render bullets next to useless. (Amortal.) - If you kill it (not that Jaeger or anyone knows that yet), it'll come back! (Persist.)
(Also, have I ever mentioned that as awful a mechanic as phasing was, the way you've done it, most notably by using it as a defensive measure that you can do at-will, is not only genuinely useful, but also quite creative? If not, now I did.)
Duritim has recently heard word that the Desolate is pushing itself deeper and deeper into the heart of Lakas. Some information has leaked that a nearby island (not that anyone has ever been there) may have been raided by wurms—and not an island near the Desolate, but rather one that is in dense forest. Wurms have never been spotted anywhere but the far reaches of the Desolate.
These thoughts begin to worry Gervais, haunting his sleep. If the wurms could essentially come from nowhere there, they could certainly do the same here.
Gervais isn't the only one affected by this. For the first time in a while, Duritim is seeing civil unrest that can't be easily handled. Fear grips the hearts of its beloved citizens, pushing them into protests and fueling a previously small rebellion that was planned to be quelled within a day or two. Swift action would be necessary, but the usual wouldn't do.
And now ya boi has until Sunday to get everything caught up because that's when a new week of personal challenges and an active challenge will begin!
Stay tuned for when I launch the week's summary and the progress the Desolate has made on its victims—and the progress you all have made in fighting it.
Introducing the Huldron Academy, An Esper-colored faction that focuses on the discovery and keeping of secrets. Headmaster Juumil, a secretive man who nevertheless inspires his students to much greater heights. Head Diviner Dimitir, a planeswalker native to Lakas who constantly seeks out new secrets through her gift of foresight. The students of the Huldron Academy are inquisitive, as a whole. Although students know to temper their studies, sometimes their excitement gets the better of them. More to come, and soon!
Although Gervais is a strict ruler, he is no fool. If he would take action against the rebels, it would only lead to more citizens siding with them as they share the same worries. With the wurms appearing in the forests, he chooses an option to strike two birds with one stone. He organizes hunting parties led by experienced hunters who are joined by some rebel sympathizers, to show them that he and Duritim have the power to protect them from those creatures and ease their fears.
Hey y'all, sorry for clocking out! Been working these past few days and haven't had a chance to pop in. I'm off today (thanks to being sick ), and the next two days, so I'll be catching up, scoring the challenges, posting an active challenge, AND (drum roll please) dropping a new active challenge.
My goal is for this to draw to a close mid-late September. What do y'all think?

Not really in a mood to write a story for this card.
I really wanted to do this privately. Please send me any relevant messages there.

How is he going to handle the situation?

You should ask if you can join this late. It’s rude to simply barge into a saga uninvited
Dear goodness if that happened. The original Tommian saga basically was
“So. Do I exist?” If true, I = on plane
“Am I on plane?” If true, plane = rekt by some supernatural guff (that always includes Eldrazi)
