The Evolution of Myths(Ongoing!)
The idea of this ongoing fun contest came from a mix of two sources.
Firstly the Ongoing Lore challenge: http://forums.mtgcardsmith.com/discussion/2167/the-magic-lore-challange-ongoing
Check it out if you want to do creative things.
And secondly, also this one is fun, a Finish What is Asked forum: http://forums.mtgcardsmith.com/discussion/2030/finish-what-is-asked-ongoing
Here, in this discussion, we are going to make a string of myths. The purpose of this is to create a timeline run off of an already existing card.
So, what do we do?
Each card needs to have flavor text, that is rule one. If you can't fit in flavor text, then don't submit the card.
After each card is submitted, the following user will create a card based off of what was written in the flavor text. The entire goal is to make it possible for the next user to continue play, while also making good, flavorful, and beautiful cards.
A type of Example: If I had this card by @Emeraldragon17 (thank you for letting me use this as an example)
The flavor text reads: We will compleate all of phyrexia, and all planes, in due time.
From this flavor text there is little to create or see. But instead, if had read like this:
"We will compleate all of phyrexia, and all planes, in due time."-Phyrexian Hymn
then the next 'player' would be able to make (for example) an enchantment called "Phyrexian Hymn"
Another example: Wilds Watcher by @Faiths_Guide (THANKS!) reads:
His calling is clear: he must guard the thicket's inhabitants, making them less susceptible to those who would do them harm.
With this example a user could create a Legendary Land card called: "The Thicket" or even an instant or sorcery called "Susceptiblity" if they really so wanted. Either way, the next card (The Thicket or Susceptibility) would have to have flavor text to start another card.
If you have questions just ask. I'll be starting with a card soon, and give some examples.
Have FUN!
-RULES-
1. The card you submit MUST have flavor text, and must be named from flavor text of the last card posted.
2. The card must use realistic art work and have MTG rules and should be realistic to play. No UnCards, No GoofBeasts, No Pokemon, No Actors, etc.
4. I will favorite any cards
that I just love. If you are posting, you should at least read a few other's posts. The discussion is ongoing.
5. No limit to submissions, just don't make them in a row.
Subrules: Keep selfless chatter to a minimum and self-promotion away.
Thank you!

For this card your options are a card named: "Murish, Thraben Poet", "Strung up Corpses", "Unfortunate Wanderer", or even anything else you can see. Have fun!
Hope this is what you wanted!
In my defense, this is my first time trying to do this.

Hm, following up a black card with another black card. Quite the dark tale!
I'm also a first-timer. This sight is awesome!
Blue's feeling left out so I'll bring them in on this
@atrus159 Well done for spinning a difficult quote into a card!
I think the next one is pretty oblivious...
Also its hard to see but the quote is from sorin.

that was a hard one, but I hope it's good.

As some entries have already done so, feel free to do as you will!
To complete the brother's death backstory and battle it out with Slalaradar (again).
"He couldn't never predict the horrors that would come from this: undying armies, necromancers rising to claim power and of course, his beloved deceased attempting to devour him."
