@Credius why thank you! I had to delete and remake Soul of Lorwyn twice because of small yet important mistakes- which was painful- but I'm glad you like them.
Hello everyone, I'm pleased to announce that this contest has become a Circuit Challenge! As such, circuit points are up for grabs, in addition to the normal favorites.
The contest closes on Saturday, October 7, so get your entries in!
@Faiths_Guide , @Credius , have no fear! I'll rule them fair on the grounds that the five Shards of Alara were independent planes for a millennium prior to being recombined during Alara block. Plenty of time to develop their own Souls.
@Platypusburger https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/soul-of-xalys You don't know my Xalys set, do you? It's a pretty cool world-building set. Xalys was destroyed in a cataclysm, so now we are rebuilding it. I based this derp around "rebuilding" your creatures. I hope you like it, because I don't think I'll win (circuit challenges aren't my forte), but I love this contest!!!
@Brainifyer The Soul of Lorwyn... It says when it "enters the battlefield" it gets three cycle counters. Yet Soul of Shadowmoor has just "transform" and not blink. So it would instantly transform back to Shadowmoor. Just sayin... sorry.
technically speaking, the shards could've been considered seperate planes until the actual conflux happened, if you WANT to be nitpicking, lorwyn and shadowmoor ARE the same plane unlike the shards and alara itself xD
The contest ends tomorrow, Saturday October 7th, at whatever time I wake up. Which means that this is everyone's ~24 HOUR NOTICE.
You have an entry limit of three submissions. You're welcome to post more, but you must specify which three you're submitting for the contest, or else I'm going to just consider the first three you posted, chronologically.

I did Amonkhet. I was one of the first entries. I'm on mobile, so I couldn't post an image.
I decided to go against the grain and make a small guy with a cheap, small ability to fit Mirrodin's flavor- after the Phyrexian takeover, of course.

Could've trampled...
Don't they have to be souls of planes? Wouldn't want you DQ'd on a technicality.
Ooooh, didn't know that. Way cool!

Ya, didn't know. @Platypusburger set me straight.
Tried to capture the idea that Dominaria is the center of the multiverse and the largest plane that's been visited
@Platypusburger when does the contest end and did we have a limit or so on entries?
Edit my card, had the wron plane name ;D
