Tirius, Once Archangel Razek's other prodigy, Nymarik's greatest friend has been spreading his kindness throughout the land. And has finally come down to Deshirak, where he has witness the horrors of this new blasted landscape. He now allies with the Archangel once more in order to protect and serve.

As more foolish humans come down from the West, believing they will solve the plights of the angels Nymarik grows further in power, reaping more souls.

Soon the gates of hell will re-open.

In order to do so however Nymarik has constructed multiple shrines around the land. Each watched over by the elite priest-warlocks: The Overseers.

The time is coming, soon the world will fall to Nymarik... or so he hopes.

Location: Cenotaph of the Fallen Moons.
Main Focus: The High Arbiters of Namarune

    image

As Nymarik's influence spreads, turning Namarune into a twisted, warped reflection of its former greatness, it falls to the king to decide what must be done to rid the world of the plague known to mortals as "Nymarik". The Knights of Crimson, the King's most trusted warriors, go down to help the fight, as war begins to spread like some sort of an epidemic across Namarune, leaving the corpses of simple folk littering the roads like the fallen leaves of a tree in autumn.

As the gnarled finger's of battle begin to seize the great Golden Steppes, Rynia is evacuated from his palace to a stronghold in the North, near the Cenotaph of Fallen Moons, the High Arbiters taking their position as Council of War. Whatever happens, the fate of Namarune is in their hands.

    COMETH THE LORD OF ALL!

With Rynia fleeing into the Northen part of Kotûn-Vaan, the palace was left empty, after a spearheaded campaign, Nymarik seized the throne... or so he thought.

A select group of cultist known as the "Apocomancers" who believe that this world has fallen and the merging of the demon-world to Namarune is its only hope, have brought back the ancient demon Ahruman:

    image

Now the Deshirakii people are split between the two dark masters fighting over an abandoned throne.

The skies are black with the wings of evil and good, the ground is red with the split blood of both innocent and guilty. Is this the fabled end times?

This is what The Archangel believed... now even he is dead and the Angelhost shattered... even they have split among the 4 angels: "Faris, Angel of Delusions (Black & white) - Remus, Angel of Penance (white & red) - Tirius, Angel of Generosity (white & blue)- Nymarik, The Fallen Lord (formally white & green but now monoblack)" and they have either fought to the death or fled to safety.

Now only the armies of mankind can stop this turmoil.

  • Woah, Razek is dead?!

    The end is nigh!
    image
Raskara was... not content with the new "Ruler," Ahruman. Only the leader of the Sightless can choose the rightful king of Namarune! As the horrible demon wreaks havoc, the horde of Orcs destroys the few remaining monoliths on the plane. The angels shriek through the skies. But all is not lost. The Rebel leader, Pani Run, mounts a force to attack. Seira joins her. The two brothers, Palroth and Maruis, rally their troops, turning away from Deshirak and towards Kotûn-Vaan. Even Osoren, self proclaimed Lord of Terror, mounts an assault on the Demon. After all, is he not the rightful ruler of Namarune?
This massive force sweeps across the Golden Steppes, marching towards the source of all this devastation: Ahruman.

Osoren, lord of terror, pledge's his legion of silent ghost-like warriors and deadly Anubrian guards into battle against the terrifying demon lord, but even he is not prepared, swords clash and blood flows, but the worst was when the two brothers, Palroth and Maruis faced the Apocomancers in the battle for the Skyshrine Temple...

Not many speak of the horror, tragedy and betrayal that day, for just when the battle may have turned in their favor, the fateful "Bloody Hour" happened.

Meanwhile in an unknown location in the Vasty Deep.

"Hmm, it looks like that Ahruman has been released. Tch, those fools." Mused Zal Ec while watching a rather large but glassy pearl which has flashing images in it.

"What should we do now, master?" Spoke his rather undead-ish personal servant.

"We'll wait. Let them kill each other, it makes my job easier anyway. Then we'll bring the ocean to them." Commanded Zal Ec.

"Heh, as you wish, master." The servant then swimmed away to the darkness between the luminous coral riffs.

"Soon you all will see... Land dwellers." Monologued Zal Ec, still watching his crystal ball.

As Zal Ec schemes in his underwater towers of how he will fight his age old enemy, Osoren. A new battle is being fought, even now in the brink of all hope, the temptation of power is too much for some.

As Plaroth and Maruis trek towards the Skyshrine, Maruis opens fire on Palroth's men, a barrage of Anubrian arrows fires down from the rocky canyon and the sightless cultists appear as if from no where, cutting down the innocent troops... trying to stop the end of the world.

Behind everyone's backs, Maruis, Osoren and Raskara were scheming, each wanting power... Raskara knew that if any of the other leaders gained power, they would overthrow his religion... Mauris was always hated his brother, who was far more popular with the common-folk and even Osoren knew he couldn't defeat the demonlord alone. So they forged the Blindsight Pact, a collection of tribes who wanted ultimate power for themselves.

Meanwhile Palroth was mortally wounded, both physically and emotionally... How could his own brother betray him in his hour of need?

    But not all was lost

    image

Alas it would fall to the Archangel of the newly formed Lighthost: Tirius. To help the mortals once more. And so indebted to the Angellord, he pledged his army to the Lighthost, and two major factions were born that day, in the blood and tears of betrayal...

But this unfortunate tale would not be the last... as the remaining Angels fought in the skies over arguments of old, Ahruman grows in power at the fear, death and horror of war.

    Is it all too late?

The giants are ready and more than willing to help rid the land of the scourge that is Ahruman. As Palroth lay dying, and the angel Tirius appeared to him, the giants were ready to attack Ahruman at his source. Giants now roam Kotun-Vaan.

Main Characters: Aeris, Lady to the Icethrone & The Icethrone's King (Unknown)
Area: Icethrone Glacier. (Top-right of Namarune)

    image

    Lore: The Icethrone King's Proposal
The king of the Icethrone, once resting in solace for the terms of his agreement with a former leader of Namarune. Now has invited nobles and the many leaders of the lands to his Frosted castle to join in on a party in celebration of his proposed marriage to Aeris, Lady to the Icethrone. With so many different groups being brought together in request of a temporary standstill to the wars among Namarune.

An honorable notion, although the result of having so many conflicting factions and groups in one place is uncertain. The King of the Icethrone hasn't been seen by most. As such, that and the unknown intentions for having a celebration at such a time as this are causing worry among a few. Although, the Icethrone king has been known never to break a promise!

All the king has promised is a party that even the angels couldn't resist to join. Particularly so, as the angels have already agreed to join in on this celebration. Hopefully the giants will attend the party as the angel Tirius has no hesitation to attend!

So surrender your swords my friends as we have a castle to rock! If only just for this momentous occasion.

    Location: the Vasty Deep surface

    image

At a rocky place on the ocean surface, two people was having a conversation.

"Looks like your pet just did a good job, uncle." Spoke a rather beautiful young merfolk lady while sitting on a rocky surface in the midst of the ocean. Her purple fins glinted beneath the moonlight.

"Don't do that. I can smell your prejudice, princess." Said Zal Ec, still levitating above his swirly arcane vortex. His hands still placed behind his back. "I know that you dislike this whole conflict. But it has to be done, or else they would claim our ocean. Just like your father."

"... I-I don't know." Answered her, her eyes looked distant. "Though those humans are greedy, it just doesn't feel right to outright drowning them like some sort of... Land animal."

"We can't hide forever. Sooner or later, they would come to the ocean again. Ahruman is also on the loose now and that slippery fool Osoren is probably just hiding himself, heh, how fitting. And then there is that marriage. Those vampires really did something to this war." Spoke Zal Ec rather nonchalantly.

"..." She only stared the water, another wave of sadness washed over her. What happens when that dreaded demon come to the ocean? What if the humans plundered her kingdom again? Or worse, what if her mother get killed? Questions like those swirling in her head.

"It's either we or them, princess." Zal Ec then sank to the ocean in a small vortex of water, leaving the princess alone in her mournful solitude.
  • Princess Zal Leen had never liked her tyrannical uncle, a throne seizing scum that wanted ultimate power of Namarune, why couldn't the people live in peace?

Recently she had been talking to the leader of the Rebellion, Pani Run, who was heading North to this "Party" about the current war and how the Vastyian people will play a part. Pani was willing to help the princess to overthrow the Tyrant and so she unleash the full might of the waves, calling upon the ancient sea titans to her cause.

    image

As the sea toils and the factions are nervously in the North, Ahruman wants none of it. His army presses throughout the Golden Steppes, little fighting occurred. The demonlord was bored, and that's never a good thing...
  • Awesome! A tie-in to Pani Run. This should bring a nice conclusion to some of the story.
  • O! And, by the way everyone -

This contest will end in three days' time!

While Zal Leen may have summoned huge sea horrors to battle Ahruman, she cannot easily control them. Huge leviathans and krakens now swarm the edges of Kotün-Vaan, striking at anyone that comes to close. Zal Leen and Pani Run are at a loss; the alliance of Raskara, Osoren, and Maruis are stronger than ever, but all three have darkened souls, exactly what Ahruman wants. Palroth and Tirius have joined the merfolk and human, their combined forces impressive. As they await by the Vast Deep, a horde of Sea mosters behind and a horde of horrors in front, they wonder: what has become of Rynia?

Meanwhile in a silent night at a camp near a river, two people was having a rather unpleasant conversation.

"Look at what you've done, things are out of control now I see." Spoke Zal Ec sinisterly. One hand still hiding behind his back.

"Arrgh!" In a misfit of rage, all things on the table were scattered everywhere. Princess Zal Leen was currently having a bad mood. "I hate you uncle..." She then slumped on the ground, with teary eyes.

"Come back now. Let those foolish humans fight themselves." Convinced him.

"You could help us instead of dwelling about the throne!" She screamed.

"Those humans aren't worth our time! What have they done to you actually?" He asked.

    "..."

"See, you don't even know what you're actually doing."

"Not all humans are bad, uncle."

"... So, who's that human?" Asked him after a while pausing.

    "..."

"You know, I actually always care about your safety. But you have to be always this stubborn. You leave me no choice, princess." He then gripped her arm with both of his left hands.

"No!" She tried to free herself but it was a fruitless effort.

Zal Ec stretched his other free arms above her head, and with a flick of a black spell, she fell unconscious. He then carried her limp body and prepare a teleportal spell on the ground. Then in a flash, the room was empty, leaving the army of merfolk rebels leaderless for the rest of the conflict.
  • Does anyone else totally ship Zal Leen and Pani Run? XD
  • @Superman101 Is that really a thing?
  • image

With all contact from the merfolk gone, the rebels are fearful of the outcome, the Blightsight pact are taking huge swaths of the Golden Steppes for themselves and Tirius and Palroth are in Icethrone. The other minor factions including the remains of the old angelhost and Nymarik's coven squabble over the little power they control. Strange really... how Nymarik hasn't been seen in a while...

    At the party:

"Tirius, don't you find this... odd?" Queried Palroth who had just finished consuming some Hors d'oeuvres.

"What the fact that there is a part going on in the middle of the potential end of the world? Of course so... something is very off"

"Greetings one and all!" Cried the Ice King, hands raised in the air.

"I would go through more formalities but time is running short..." He began.

Pani was in the other corner of the room, horrified by all of the meat that was being served.

"Guardsmen, have you heard from Zal Leen at all?" She whispered trying to somewhat listen the the pompous royal say his speech.

"No my lady, we fear the worst," The words came from a supposed lord who was sitting in front of her, upon closer inspection it was Lyn, her royal spymaster.

"And so, I must bid you farewell you insufferable mortals!" Pani zoned back into the speech and realised that the entire party had been a trap... this she already knew but some gullible lords had actually thought otherwise, they were the first to be culled.

But, which even Lyn did not know of, Nymarik emerged, and too join the slaughtfest. It seemed another faction had been born, Pani had lost count by this point.

"Palroth! you know what to do!" cried Tirius, who had just removed the head from a vampire's body.

... So what did Palroth do?
