Movie/Book Lines Contest
Hello! I made this contest with inspiration from watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Mt favorite part of the movie was that one line:
So, with that in mind, I thought up this contest. Pick a line from a movie or book, and create a card that references the line. The card can be named that line, or can say the line in the flavor text, but must have the line anywhere on the card.
This will be ongoing, then I will set a deadline when there are enough to judge.
Rules:
You may submit any number of new cards, and up to three old cards
Any card making platform is allowed
You must say where the line is from when you submit a card.

Old card from: Star Wars The Attack of the Clones.

This card is based on a scene from a video game named Final Fantasy 9 where the main protagonist Zidane loses all hope after his purpose and true identity is revealed to him, but when he sets off alone to destroy monsters, all his friends arrive to aid him, one by one, and help him realize what he truly is. The quote in the flavor text is from that scene.
The card's name is based on the song which plays during the scene: You're Not Alone.
Do I really have to say where this is from...
Based on the Woodsman's quote from the show Over the Garden Wall
The quote in the flavor text is from a video game named Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (1997).
I'll give feedback on every card, and list winners at the end. Judging will be based on flavor, concept, execution, and originality.
Feedback:
@Corwinnn
@TenebrisNemo
"The Curse of the Black Pearl": This is a very flavorful concept. I think its very well designed, and quite original. I like it a lot.
"Godlike Status": This is very interesting. I think it is a bit too powerful for 3 mana, but a very cool card.
"You're Not Alone": This is a great card. I love the flavor and how it relates to the quote. This fits in really well with a lot of strategies, and is very well balanced.
"Change the Stakes": I like the use of the mechanic, but I think it is a little too powerful for common.
@jicklemania2
"Isildur's Bane": This is the best take I've seen of this specific artifact. However, as is with The High Ground, I find this to be too powerful for its mana cost. I would remove the "can't be blocked" to balance it, and/or increase the equip cost.
@Usaername
@Dizzydude
"I Don't Think So": Again, like your previous card, a good concept, and I love the un-card theme on it. However, the grammar should be like this:
Counter target spell then say "I don't think so!" very loudly. If you catch the attention of someone outside the game, you may say "Jedi business, go back to your drinks." If you do, you gain 2 life.
I don't think so! -- Obi-Wan Kenobi
@Animist
"Second Breakfast": I adore The Lord of the Rings, and especially the idea of second breakfast. A great card, and very original.
"Erase Legacy": The formatting is great, and the quote fits perfectly with the card. The single comment I have is that this type of card has been done a lot before.
@SpellPiper2213
@DadAdventure
"Isengard, Corrupted Keep": This is a really interesting card. I love the quote, however, it is a little bit powerful to create two 3/3 tokens for one forest.
Winners:
In 1st place we have TenebrisNemo with You're Not Alone!
In 2nd place we have Animist with Second Breakfast!
In 3rd place we have SpellPiper2213 with Over the Wall!
All winners will get two favorites from me.
Thank you everyone for entering cards! This was a great contest to host, and it was because of everyone who entered with such great cards that made it so good!
I'm sorry? Is there a line associated with that? If so, I'm so sorry for not realizing.
